First stop is Pieve di Cadore a delightful alpine village, here you have time for a short walk with traditional shops selling salumi, local cheeses and home made ice cream, the town is also well known as its the birth place of the Italian artist Titian.

Stop At: Tre Cime di Lavaredo, 32041, Auronzo di Cadore Italy
Tre Cime di Lavaredo 2360mt which offers one of the best views across the valleys and peaks, the scenery is quite simply, breathtaking.

Stop At: Lago di Misurina, Frazione di Auronzo di Cadore., Auronzo di Cadore Italy
Misurina lake, here you will have time to wander around or alternatively, you can enjoy an optional lunch, whilst admiring the beautiful mountain peaks and spectacular backdrop with views of “Sorapis”, and the “Marmarole”.

Stop At: Lago di Auronzo, 32041, Auronzo di Cadore Italy
After a fulfilling day we journey on to admire the picturesque Auronzo lake, passing through enchanting mountain villages.

Our guide, Simone, was the perfect guide. Funny, relaxed, knowledgeable, patient, and he was strategic about how we toured. He offered our group the opportunity to do a couple of small walks around mountain lakes, which the three couples readily agreed to do. He gave us history and my favorite part was how much he talked about habits, routines and nuances of Italian life. Very lovely. The day went quickly and was worth every penny. Stunning locations. I wish I had booked him for a longer hiking tour!Simone’ was fantastic—knowledgeable and humorous. The drive was beautiful and afforded us a nice nap on the way back to Venice.
