So great audio to follow along on your journey… everything was easy to find and the directions were phenomenal… my only suggestion would be to start the tour early… once the streets clear out it’s a little spooky walking though Charleston basically alone. If you are doing this tour solo or eve with one or two others I would definitely go earlier… the cost was great and we actually passed a few groups going to the same spots with the same stories!!! We were able to experience the same thing at a fraction of the price!!!Great option if you want to go your own pace. We hit all the same spots the other tour guides went to. Great for a late night stroll.

The gate was open & we walked around. The people that lived in the area were yelling at each other & a police officer was in the yard of the jailhouse which made it more exciting.

This was used by 1 adult female (me) and my 2 pre-teen children (10 and 12). This was done as an extra on a whim and we chose to drive as we had already done a few walking tours and our feet were tired. I do recommend that if you do this - walk. There were a few places that we needed to turn (on foot) and it was a one way street, so we circled around a few times, which caused lots of laughs. Overall, we recommend walking it to get the most out of it. It was worth the few $s I spent and we got to see a bit more of the city than we would have otherwise.I have done a bunch of ghost tours in different cities. We have always had a storyteller. I have done a bunch of ghost tours in different cities. We have always had a storyteller. This was such a great tour and similar but different experience. Really loved that we could go at our pace. Directions and instructions were perfect. Took a lot of photos and actually caught an orb on my camera which was so exciting. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!Perfect tour to explore the city on your own terms. App worked smooth on an iPhone (visuals, navigation, audio). We were in town for less than 24 hours and this was great to hear some history, pause and grab a drink, and keep going.
