Known as Dracul Castle, even if has nothing to do with Dracula, Bran Castle was used for defend the border between Valachia and Transylvania.

Stop At: Rasnov Citadel: Garden and Panoramic View, Rasnov 505400 Romania
Built by Saxons, to defend the area. Partial closed for renovation.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata in compagnia della guida Florin, una persona simpaticissima e molto preparata sulla storia della Romania. Abbiamo visitato il castello di Peles che ne è valsa assolutamente la pena. La seconda tappa è stata al castello di Bran e infine abbiamo visitato la fortezza di Rasnov anche se purtroppo era sotto ristrutturazione. Grazie a questo tour abbiamo avuto l'occasione di visitare le bellezze della Transilvania, visto che sono abbastanza distanti tra di loro.

Es war sehr spannend einen Guide zu haben Die Tour wurde so geführt, dass wir nicht im Stau standen und auch nicht (ewig) in Bran snstenhen mussten.

Florin is a great guide. He picked me up on time at the accommodation. We went in the morning already to avoid the crowd and traffic which was a great idea. I loved his knowledge and explanations, he answered all the questions I had, and he was flexible. I had the chance to take all the time I wanted in the castles. It is clear that he is an experienced guide, so I definetly recommend this tour a lot! It is a great way to see and get to know all 3 places in 1 day.Lovely day with Florin and a great way to see the top sites in one day. Florin was great with navigating traffic, very knowledgeable about Romania and let us take out time when we wanted or move on when we wanted. Beautiful day and highly recommend this tour!
