10/10. I don't think I would have enjoyed my day half as much in these places without Florin. He brings a lot tot he experience and is very well priced for what you get. Florin picked me up right from my hotel, I didn't have to wait a minute longer than the agreed time. He drove very well and I felt safe the entire trip. He speaks very good English and has a much more detailed knowledge of the area's history. At two locations, other guides overheard him telling me about the sites, and they asked him for the stories! He is very patient but at the same time won't waste time on anything you're not interested in. He is very enthusiastic and brings the spots you visit to life with his stories. As a solo traveler, I couldn't be happier with how my day tour went. We saw Bran, Rasnov and Peles. Learning the history and purpose of each place from Florin helped with perspective. He's a stand up guy and you'll have a great time with him.

Our guide Florin was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. We went on a private tour to Peles castle and the Salt mines with him. Very enjoyable day. Highly recommended driver/guide.

Peles castle alone made the trip worth it. Brans castle and raznov was just extra on top. Florin, the tour guide, had a wonderful amount of knowledge about historic events of sites visited. Well worth the trip!

Great day out with Florin a very knowledgeable and good company. The fact that the tour is private makes it so much more enjoyable and you get to take your time everywhere. Outstanding day visiting iconic Transylvanian castles. We travelled from Scotland to tour Romania and were not disappointed. Our guide was a lovely and knowledgeable man, very good company and having the luxury of a private tour makes the entire experience a lot more personal and enjoyable. You can take your time, learn more about the places and engage in interesting conversations. Highly recommend this tour. It's been the highlight of our Romanian adventure. Peles Palace was the high point. Florin did a great job. He did a great job of navigating the traffic and made we got in all of the sights.

Highly recommend this day tour of castles. Of course we love Brasov as one of our bases in Romania. And Florin is an excellent guide, a good driver, and knows everything cultural and historical about Romania past/current changes. We had already visited Bran Castle which was great (and it snowed that day!) so Florin modified our trip for us with visits and thorough commentary: Ghimbov fortified church (very interesting), Saxon villages, Manastirea Caraiman, Rosnov Fortress (a bit of walking and gorgeous scenery), and Peles Castle. Wonderful day.

The Castles tour was amazing. Peles Castle is the most exquisite castle I have ever seen, Bran Castle had a special charm to it and the Râşnov Citadel (despite being closed and under construction) was spectacular and the views were incredible. We really enjoyed Florin’s company which is very important on a 7-8 hour trip. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about each Castle and about the many general Romania questions that we asked him. His knowledge and good conversation made the day perfect. We are grateful for the chance to visit and would highly recommend Florin for this or any of his other tours.

Florin is a great guide. He picked me up on time at the accommodation. We went in the morning already to avoid the crowd and traffic which was a great idea. I loved his knowledge and explanations, he answered all the questions I had, and he was flexible. I had the chance to take all the time I wanted in the castles. It is clear that he is an experienced guide, so I definetly recommend this tour a lot! It is a great way to see and get to know all 3 places in 1 day.

Lovely day with Florin and a great way to see the top sites in one day. Florin was great with navigating traffic, very knowledgeable about Romania and let us take out time when we wanted or move on when we wanted. Beautiful day and highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was amazing!! It really is the best way to see all three castles in one day. The tour guide picked us up from our hotel room and knew the best routes to avoid most of the traffic and get us in front of the long lines. Due to the castles being crowded tourist traps we would have had a hard time navigating it on own and would have been much more time consuming/frustrating. Due to it being a private tour, we were able to take all the time we wanted taking pictures and stopping for food occasionally. The guide was extremely knowledgeable in history of all the castles, making it much richer experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Florin was an excellent guide with loads of valuable information about the history of Romania, politics, and the sites we visited. He drove carefully and navigated around long traffic pile ups. He was very considerate and patient with our requests and gave us excellent food recommendations when we wanted to try local cuisine! I highly recommend this itinerary for anyone who wants to see some of the top sites near Brasov, especially if you only have a day to do so!

The castles tour is a "must" if you go to Braşov. Florin is an excellent guide, he knows Transylvania like the palm of his hand and speaks very good english. About the castles: Peleş is the most beautiful one (visit both floors, not only the 1st) and Bran is the most famous. Rasnov is ok (medieval fortress).

We enjoyed our day with Florin. It was a special day in Romania (2nd of january) and the road was crowded. Florin knew how to manage to realize the tour and to visit the 3 places. He always drove carefully. He gave us many informations about Romania during all the day and helped us to go to the entrance of the castles, always paying attention if we could enter in the castles for the visit. He also visited Rasnov with us and guided us in all the citadel. We realized a second day tour with Florin, which was as perfect as this one ! Thank you very much !

We had a lovely day out with Florin on our 2nd day in Romania. Millions of questions about Romania, we got our answers at the end of the trip. The only unfortunate was the Peles castle was closed for the annual cleaning :(

Florin’s tour was very well put together! My friend, brother and I were all visiting from New York and this tour led to a perfect day and seeing all the castles and fortresses! It was a bit of a gloomy weather but we were all able to enjoy it! Florin really has great knowledge about the castles, Braşov and the country itself and even shared about his life experience growing up here. He was easy to communicate, both in person and through email, answering our questions as best as he could! He also offered us the WiFi but we already had purchase the SIM cards for our week in Romania. And he even brought umbrellas Incase it would start to rain hard. Definitely would recommend his tour! As said before, Florin has and knows a lot of great knowledge about the castles, Brasov and Romania itself!

I am a single American female traveler. I booked this tour with Florin based on previous reviews. The tour is good and I recommend it as you can see all the main castle attractions and a fortress in one day, something very difficulty to achieve without a guide. However, I was most impressed that Florin is exceptionally helpful. He helped me book additional tickets for special exhibits in this tour and with information on catching an early morning bus to the airport direct from Brasov, which I did not know existed. This saved me a lot of time, money and headache!
