First may I say that Spain Day Tours is an excellent organization represented by first-rate professionals. I am so impressed. It is nice to be able to relax and know you are in good hands - that you will not only see that best things, but that you will be informed by your guide and the schedule will be modified as needed to deliver the best experience possible. This is the second time I have taken the Cartagena and Murcia Highlights tour, and due to the time of year, each experience was unique and worthwhile. Our guide this time was Danny and my goodness he was so good, he listened, he was pleasant and approachable, he had a nice sense of humor, and we all felt like we got individual attention. We drove from Cartagena to Murcia, we were given a very good tour of the area, then on to Murcia, again a very good tour - church, casino, general area, time to explore, and then finally to Cartagena where we were given a general bus highlights tour, and over the to the Roman Theater which we viewed from the outside. We were then given the option to break away on our on or continue - we opted to break away since Cartagena is pretty easy to find your way around depending on what you want to do - weather permitting of course!! We had four tours with this company and each one was excellent! Our guides Marta, in Barcelona and Montserrat, Dani in Cartagena and Murcia, and Maria in Santiago de Compostela, were all competent, professional and considerate of their guests needs. We had four tours with this company and each one was excellent! Our guides Marta, in Barcelona and Montserrat, Dani in Cartagena and Murcia, and Maria in Santiago de Compostela, were all competent, professional and considerate of their guests needs. So were the captains of our busses! What impressed me the most was how quickly and seamlessly they responded to the sudden change in the itinerary! Our ship had to skip Lisbon due to bad weather and had to dock in Vigo instead. Within hours, Emilia had provided a couple of great options! Hence, when we landed in Vigo, there was Maria waiting for us with a 50-seater bus to take the 12 of us to Santiago de Compostela at no extra cost! While the rest of the people on the ship, unfortunately, had to content themselves with walking around Vigo, we had a great day visiting a bucket-list destination. How cool is that! Thank you Emilia, Mark Joseph and the Spain Day Tours Team for the lovely time we had in Spain. Book with this company, you can't go wrong!ednas733

It was a long day but well-pleased. Our group was met from the port by a very friendly guide, Danny who walked us to the bus where a friendly driver, JC was waiting. Instead of starting the tour in Cartagena we drove to Murcia. The change in plan is most reasonable and much appreciated to ensure that we will be back in time. Our guide not only knows the highlights of the places we visited. He answered satisfactorily questions posted to him. He also anticipated the needs of his guests- bathrooms Lastly, an added perk from Danny and JC we were driven as close to the ship as they can possibly can. That’s a biggy after a long day of walking. Hasta luego!
