What to expect
This trip includes 4-5 hours of guided canyoneering down the scenic Tanque Verde Canyon just outside of Tucson, AZ. After gearing up, there is a short and scenic hike to a series of rappels dropping down cascading waterfalls into pools. Getting wet is typically optional unless it is directly after a heavy rainfall.

I cannot emphasize the truly memorable experience of canyoneering with Altitude Mountain Guides! Last Sunday, Ben coordinated a hike through Tanque Verde Canyon. From the start, I was impressed by the level of professionalism, communication, and passion that was demonstrated. Having no prior experience with mountain climbing or canyoneering, I felt safe and encouraged to explore Tucson’s terrain in criticism-free environment. Our trek lasted approximately 3-4 hours from start to finish. Amazing views and the perfect self-care activity.
