Ben and Aaron were both fantastic! Highly recommend if you are able to handle 4 hours of medium level hiking. Fabulous time!

Aaron was our guide and he was fantastic! He was quick setting up the rappels and Tyrolean and had a kind, friendly manner. The hike was pristine and a place we wouldn’t have gotten to on our own. It was well worth the money as we had a memorable experience. I would do another guided trip with him if I ever come down to Tucson again.

It was my first time so I was very scared but Aaron made me feel so comfortable and safe. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced and guided me through the day every step of the way. The scenery was spectacular and we had a blast. I highly recommend this trip and guide! You will not be disappointed..

My husband and I joined Ben for a half-day of canyoneering. We had a great time. Ben was a fantastic guide. We hiked, rappelled, and traverse over the rocks. It was an excellent experience and we would do it again for a full day. If you're in the Tucson area and like adventure, try it.

This is a must do regardless of if you are from Tucson or just visiting. You get a chance to see a beautiful part of the desert in a way no one else visiting gets to. Aaron was great and worked with my wife and I at a very comfortable pace. They reached out the day before to confirm everything and provide all the details we could need. All in a this was a great adventure and would highly recommend Altitude and Aaron to anyone looking for a great way to explore and adventure.

I had a private canyoneering tour with Ben and loved every minute of it! If you’re in Tucson, I highly recommend this tour because Ben is extremely knowledgeable and just a great guy to be around. He’s clearly very experienced and extremely safety oriented (and gave me a tutorial on the gear and how it all worked). He is flexible, communicative and responsive during the reservation and planning process, as well. I really didn’t know what I was getting into with canyoneering but it was truly an amazing experience. The scenery is stunning and the rappelling is exciting! Ben is an exceptional teacher and guide. I wished the whole time I had my kids with me to experience this. Ben would be amazing with kids so take your family on this one if you all love a great adventure! I love to travel and try new things and we do a fair amount of both. This ranks pretty high up there as one of the coolest things I’ve done in my travels. I would definitely do this again! My sincere gratitude to Ben for teaching and guiding me and taking great photos for me, too!

This was a FANTASTIC trip. It was our first time canyoneering and it won't be our last. Ben was an excellent guide and made us feel safe but strong. Our family is BIack and I was worried we wouldn't feel welcome, but this was not the case at all. If you're hold out for reasons related to ability, cost, or inclusion, please give it a try. It was well worth it!

Great hike to the trail. You go down into a canyon through the trail with beautiful views. Then you do a series of rappels down some rocks. Very fun and adventurous! Would definitely be beneficial to have hiking experience as the trails and hikes are very rugged and rigorous. No climbing or technical skills are required as the guide covers all that. I felt very safe with the guide. 10/10 would recommend if you are an adventure and thrill junkie!

So we did a couple of hikes in Tucson and they were beautiful, but CROWDED. Found this "canyoneering" which I had NO idea what it even was, and it turned out to be awesome. It was like our own private hike down a canyon away from the crowds, with our guide setting up ropes for us to go down the steep sections. Had lunch at a beach by a waterfall and we were the only ones there. Also got some amazing photos! Definitely recommended.

I cannot emphasize the truly memorable experience of canyoneering with Altitude Mountain Guides! Last Sunday, Ben coordinated a hike through Tanque Verde Canyon. From the start, I was impressed by the level of professionalism, communication, and passion that was demonstrated. Having no prior experience with mountain climbing or canyoneering, I felt safe and encouraged to explore Tucson’s terrain in criticism-free environment. Our trek lasted approximately 3-4 hours from start to finish. Amazing views and the perfect self-care activity. I look forward to my next booking opportunity and I hope you do too!

I am so glad I found this on a whim, it was the highlight of my trip to Tucson! Tucson is a great city and we did all the go-to tourist stuff (desert museum, Sabino canyon) but this is the day I will remember. We had never done canyoneering before, but love to hike, and this was the perfect introduction to it. GORGEOUS scenery here in the desert, and this gives you a chance to really experience it. Our guide was great- we were sad to leave him at the end of the day. If you're hesitant, don't be! This is a hidden gem.

I’ve been coming to Tucson for 45 years. This day in the canyon with Ben was the best day ever. If you want more than a walk around the desert museum, this is what you’re looking for. What an amazing 4 hours. The thrills, the view, the overall experience. Can we give a 6 out of 5 TripAdvisor?? Looking for someone to go again with, it was that amazing.
