We will discover the unique syncretism of the Tsotsil Maya with customs and customs that will amaze you, we will visit their church and our guide will provide them with relevant information of the place.

I am on the fit side of things but usually not “a biker” so the incline at this altitude was sometimes tough. All in all it was a beautiful day and I do recommend it!

Mijn vriend en ik besloten om vanuit Chiapas een fietstour te boeken (in plaats van een lange busreis naar Palenque) en we hebben daar geen moment spijt van gehad! Op zaterdag zijn we langsgegaan bij het kantoortje van Jaguar Adventours en daar konden we de verschillende mogelijkheden bespreken voor zondag. We besloten om de meer culturele fietsroute van 32km te doen. Omdat het nog vroeg in het seizoen was waren we de enige twee. Onze gids Josué heeft ons super goed gegidst en ons van allerlei informatie voorzien. We vonden de dorpjes die we bezochten heel bijzonder en hebben echt een super ervaring gehad. Het mountainbiken is wel pittig: we sporten beiden veel en vonden het soms nog best een uitdaging ;) Mocht je de tour op zondag kunnen doen dan is dat een aanrader omdat er dan een markt is in San Jean Chamula.Josué war ein exzellenter guide! Josué war ein exzellenter guide! Er führte uns in Gegenden weg vom Zentrum, hübsche Natur und erzählte uns sehr interessante Dinge zur Kultur, Land und Leute. Mit dem Mountainbike die Gegend zu erkunden ist eine tolle Art das Leben hier kennen zu lernen.. Viel besser als im Auto von Ort zu Ort transportiert zu werden.
