This walking tour is perfect for visitors to Liverpool, or anyone who wants to get to know some interesting facts and history about their own city. Our experienced and local guides are passionate about their city and want to make each tour fun, interesting and memorable for everyone. They will share with you, personal stories that will really bring to life the history and culture of Liverpool.

You will have great photo opportunities, as the tour stops at many of the city’s iconic buildings and landmarks, show casing some amazing architecture both historic and new.

Our guides will share with you some fascinating stories from the past and point out for intriguing and fun facts along the way. You will learn of the city’s musical influence on the world and be able to walk in the footsteps of The Fab Four as the tour passes by the famous Cavern Club on Mathew Street.

Stop At: Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BX England

You will meet you guide in front of the front gates of the Bluecoat building School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BX. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 10.00am start time meets/departs from the Titanic Memorial, Waterfront. St Nicholas Place L3 1QW & does not meet at the Bluecoat.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Derby Square, James Street, Liverpool L2 7NU England

As you pass through Derby Square, you will hear about the history of Liverpool Castle that once stood here and is now home to an imposing monument to Queen Victoria.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool One, Liverpool England

Located on the site of Liverpool's first dry dock here you will learn of the maritime history of Liverpool that is captured in the large water fountain, and you will be able to have a quick look down to through a port hole. Thomas Steers Way is also home to the oversized LIVERPOOL selfie sign for which the colours change to reflect the season or events throughout the year.

Stop At: Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, Riverside Walk, Liverpool L3 4AZ England

As your guide escorts you around the waterfront to the famous Royal Albert dock, you will learn how the Titanic story became an internal part of the maritime history of Liverpool, and how the docks have played an important role in the development of the city. Along the way you will see some standout architecture-old and new, as well as the bronze statue to Bill Fury which has become the fans shrine to him.

Stop At: Beatles Statue, Pier Head, Liverpool L3 1BY England

For any Beatles fans on this tour there will be chance to grab a selfie with the fab four as you pass by the fabulous and iconic Beatles Statue that was sculpted by Andrew Edwards.

Stop At: The Three Graces, Pier Head, Liverpool England

Collectively called the The Three Graces, you will learn about the history and heritage of the Grade II listed Cunard Building, The Port of Liverpool Building and of the iconic Liver Building.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Exchange Flags City Square, 1 Exchange Flags, Liverpool L2 3XN England

Exchange Flags is a Grade II listed and its buildings form a splendid courtyard that faces the Town Hall. With a history that includes an important role in the Second World War. Nelson Monument it also houses the large bronze monument to Nelson that dates to the early 1800's.

Stop At: Mathew Street, Liverpool England

As walk along the vibrant and bustly Mathew Street you will be walking in the footsteps of many musical icons. Mathew Street is one of the most famous streets in the world, and is synonymous with the Cavern Club and amongst other famous muscial artists, The Beatles. You will have chance to have your photo taken in front of the Cavern Club and see all the links along the street to its musical past and learn about this streets lasting and world-wide cultural influence.

Stop At: Liverpool Town Hall, Town Hall High Street, Liverpool L2 3SW England

As you walk towards the current Grade I listed Town Hall that is recognised as one of the finest surviving 18th-century town halls in England, you will hear about the history of its predecessors that dates back to the 1500's.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Eleanor Rigby Statue, Stanley Street, Liverpool L1 6AA England

Take a chance to sit down as you have a photo taken sitting next to Eleanor on her bench while you hear Eleanor's story and about Tommy Steel her famous musical creator.
