We had a great time on our tour with Paul, who was a friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide. My husband and I brought our 2 year old and although the tour was too long for her to stay in entirety it was easy for one of us to split off a little early while the other stayed. We live in Liverpool and found it an amazing way to learn more about where we live. Highly recommend!!!!

Spent a lovely afternoon strolling around Liverpool in the sunshine with our guide Allan. Really enjoyable and informative walk. Allan was an excellent guide and provided an interesting insight into the heritage and history of the City. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing 3 hour walk in a small group of 5. Paul was very knowledgable and proud of his city. He answered all our questions and even gave us recommendations for our time in Liverpool as well as the best bands to see at the Cavern. We took his advice and had a great time.

Booked a few days in advance but could have booked last minute. Our group size was 10 people so a good size. Did the tour on Saturday afternoon and was very busy around town so good to be in a small group. Was a very good tour. Rob our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I have been to Liverpool a few times but learnt a lot. Would recommend highly.

Carl was an excellent guide! He really knew his stuff and I feel like we saw all the best spots in town, even a few little secret nooks and crannies. We've got some great ideas for more fun things to do afterwards as well. A walking tour is the best thing to do day one in a new place and this was one of the best.

It was pleasure to go on a tour of Liverpool's history and culture. The tour was well thought through and had a good balance of facts and anecdotes (I feel that very often these days tours tend to be too much about jokes and silly legends in trying to keep people entertained so I was grateful that our tour was not like that). The tour really helped see Liverpool from many angles and sparked interest to learn more in our free time. I would totally recommend Liverpool Famous Walking Tours to anyone who wants to learn about the city and to also to enjoy the relaxing walk and a pint at historic pub at the end of the tour :)

Allan our guide was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable, funny and took his time to cleary explain everything. The company were brilliant not to cancel our trip since we were the only couple on it.

He even contacted me after the tour had ended to let me know the museum opening times had changed over the Easter period. A great informative talk giving a good insight to the city. Alan our guide was humorous and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend if you want to know more about this city! Sadly it poured with rain but no one can help the weather!

This is an interesting and insightful walking tour. We gained a far greater historical and geographical perspective of the city than we would have on our own. Allan was a fabulous guide striking the right balance.

Better than I could have imagined. We had a Spanish friend to stay for the weekend so decided to book a walking tour of Liverpool. We never expected to learn so much ourselves too. Paul was personable, extremely knowledgeable, passionate about his hometown and included my teenage daughter so she was 100% engaged. What an enjoyable Saturday. We’ll be back. Couldn’t recommend Paul and this tour company highly enough.

We booked this last minute for something to do on Saturday and we were so glad we did. Robert was our guide and he knew his stuff. He covered the history of the slave trade and the docks, showed us some amazing places that we would not have discovered ourselves, and was very patient every time we asked him to take photos of us along the way. Well worth the money!

Richard was wonderful and full of information on the history of Liverpool and much more, including the music scene. Unfortunately could not follow up on any recommended museums as they were closed by strike action. Great couple of hours and introduction to the City.
