Dennis, our guide for the day, was low-key and soft spoken but friendly and interested in making certain that we got to see the main points of this lovely island. The caves, the « underground « lake and the coastline were the highlights of this lovely day.

Our tour guide, Dennis, was amazing!!!! He was a very careful driver, even in the rain on the way back to the ship. Dennis went over the plan at the beginning and made an adjustment when we realized my husband wouldn't be able to walk the steps at one of the caves. Dennis took us to another part of the island to give us a great experience as a substitute. The winery we went to was phenomenal! The view while trying the local co-op wine was magical. The entire island was absolutely beautiful. I wish we had more than a day to explore. This tour was our favorite from our whole trip.Harris was a great driver and helped steer us to the right places to take advantage of the short window of sun on an otherwise rainy day. Harris was a great driver and helped steer us to the right places to take advantage of the short window of sun on an otherwise rainy day. The Mercedes van was spacious and comfortable with USB ports. Kefalonia is beautiful and this tour was perfect for our quick tour during a cruise port of call. Harris shared information about the island and answered our questions and was a amiable and helpful driver. We hired La Rota Tours for this day excursion from our cruise port in Cephalonia. Charis met the four of us with his very nice Mercedes van. The day exceeded our expectations. We saw all that was promised and more. Highly recommend this if you will be in Cephalonia.

This was such a great way to see everything we wanted in Argostoli! Chariss was at the port early to meet us and immediately started the tour in a Mercedes Mini Van! We went to the monastery which was beautiful then to the winery and picked out a bottle of wine. Along the way our driver taught us about the area and we learned so much! The cave was fun but Mellisani Lake was probably our favorite. Then we were able to relax for lunch on the waterfront at a restaurant he suggested- it was perfect! We then had a great view of Myrtos beach and before we went back to our cruise ship he called a friend to find out a good dessert shop and made a special stop so we could get some sweets! This is such a good value- for less than what the shore excursions through the ship cost we were able to see more, avoid the crowds and we had a personalized tour experience! We visited the cave as an add on for the boat trip we were on and were so glad we did! Im claustrophobic but it was still suitable for me to go into. The cave is so beautiful and cool.
