We had a wonderfull time and a excelent driver. He showed us the best highlights of Kefalonia, gave us the best information of the Island and its history. - Drogarati Cave/Mellisani Lake and Myrtos beach and the photo view! Harris was great taking us all over the island and showing us a great time. He was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and culture. He spoke perfect English!

This tour was the highlight of our 7-day cruise. We usually travel on a budget but we decided to hire a private guide because we were worried about mobility problems at some of the bus tour spots. As a result, we went to many of the same stops as the large group tours, but instead of feeling herded and rushed, we got to choose whether to stop at each one and for how long. We almost skipped the winery, but we enjoyed the peaceful setting and beauty of the countryside so much while we were there! It still affects me each time I think of it. (The wine was good too; we bought 3 bottles to take home.) We fell in love with Kefalonia and hope to go back someday. I am sorry that I am writing this months later and have forgotten the name of our guide, because he was wonderful.

We had a great tour with Dennis. We saw all the highlights. He was a safe driver. Definitely a great way to see Kefalonia.

Our driver George picked us up on time and was very friendly and accommodating. He knew when to stop at each attraction to avoid the bus crowds and was very flexible in terms of photo opportunities, lunch drop off/pick up and stay timing at each of the scheduled stops. He is worth asking for on Kefalonia.

Kefalonia is now our favorite Greek island thanks to our wonderful driver Spyros. He was waiting for us right as we got off our cruise with our name on a sign. The car was very nice and comfortable for 3 of us. He gave us options of what we wanted to do and we chose to do the Melissani Caves first (got there around 10 am, would recommend to go as early as possible to beat the crowds). When we arrived at the caves, there was already a decent size line because a lot of tour buses were there. Spyros kindly went ahead and purchased waters for us and brought them to us in line. We waited around 45 minutes and the tickets were 8€ per person. The cave tour is about 10 minutes- you ride in a row boat into the caves and back out. We then drove along a beautiful scenic route to Assos beach, stopping at an overlook of Myrtos beach along the way which was breathtaking. At Assos beach, we went for a swim in the area Spyros recommended and grabbed some food (spinach& feta pie and baklava) from the bakery he also recommended which was so good. It was the cutest little town with not as many tourists. We then returned to Argostoli, stopping along the way for photos. We felt very safe with Spyros and his driving. We hope to return one day and have Spyros again!

We stopped in Kephalonia on our cruise and had a great tour of the island. Our driver, George, not only showed us the highlights of the island, but explained what life is like in Kephalonia today. He helped us buy ouzo in the supermarket and took us to a nice area for lunch. The island was spectacular and we were very glad that we had George and La Rotta to show us around.

Argostoli was absolutely stunning. Our guide George was very informative and stopped at some less tourist locations. We had lunch in the fishing village which was very peaceful. We did run over time and had to pay extra. I didn't necessarily mind having to pay extra but I would have preferred a heads up thar time was running out.

This was an excellent tour with George. He was a great guide that tailored the tour to our requests. We went to a lovely wine tasting that was wonderful. It had a lovely view, the wine, food and service was simply outstanding and inexpensive. George was very personable and provided recommendations to work around the cruise ship crowds. We went to a local beach off the beaten path and had a wonderful lunch at Antismos. The Melissani Lake (boat ride) was over rated. Although the water was beutiful in the cave it was a very very short boat ride for the cost. This is also a hugh tourist attraction where many people go so the line was quite long. Kafalonia was one of our favoridte stops in Greece. I would highly recommend George and the tour if you are looking for a private tour you can customize away from the crowds.

What an amazing experience! We were in Kefalonia on a cruise but skipped the cruise offered excursion to enjoy this TripAdvisor experience. Some highlights included: - A local guide picked us up at the cruise terminal on time and ready to go! - We were the only 4 people on the experience - He had us in a beautiful AC'd Mercedes van! Very comfortable! - We were able to get to the Drogarti Cave, Melissani Cave / lake, 1400 monestary, time in a small village by a lake! - Because we were a small group, we were able to get to all of these places much quick than the cruise excursions! Our driver / guide was amazing and made this experience fit our desires and expectations! He was very kind and shared his experiences of living on the island! Loved our time!

Denis was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship. He showed us the sights of the island. He was informative and really dedicated to us having a great day. His car is super comfy. We saw a beautiful church, two caves and when we stopped in an adorable town he had a SUPER recommendation for lunch. Yum! He is an extremely conscientious driver and got us safely back to the cruise ship with time to spare. Instead of herding on and off cruise ship buses with hoards of folks hire Denis for a private tour!

Dennis, our guide for the day, was low-key and soft spoken but friendly and interested in making certain that we got to see the main points of this lovely island. The caves, the « underground «  lake and the coastline were the highlights of this lovely day.

Our tour guide, Dennis, was amazing!!!! He was a very careful driver, even in the rain on the way back to the ship. Dennis went over the plan at the beginning and made an adjustment when we realized my husband wouldn't be able to walk the steps at one of the caves. Dennis took us to another part of the island to give us a great experience as a substitute. The winery we went to was phenomenal! The view while trying the local co-op wine was magical. The entire island was absolutely beautiful. I wish we had more than a day to explore. This tour was our favorite from our whole trip.

Harris was a great driver and helped steer us to the right places to take advantage of the short window of sun on an otherwise rainy day. The Mercedes van was spacious and comfortable with USB ports. Kefalonia is beautiful and this tour was perfect for our quick tour during a cruise port of call. Harris shared information about the island and answered our questions and was a amiable and helpful driver.

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the beautiful island of Kefalonia! Harris our guide/driver was awesome! He was kind, knowledgeable and professional. He was also flexible fitting the experience to our likes and requests. He also accommodated us with an extension of our tour (for a fee of course) so we could enjoy some relaxing time at the beach! A most wonderful experience!

Harry met us promptly at the port. He brought us to the monastery and wine tasting. We did one cave and the next had a long line so he showed us a beach and recommended a place for lunch. We then went back and the line for the cave was much shorter. Had a great day. There were 7 of us. 2 families. Kids were 23,23 and 20

This was an amazing excursion. We began by visiting the Greek Orthodox Church and moved on to a beautiful winery. From there we moved on to two underground caves in which one had a lake. They were unbelievable. Our driver then took us to local tavern for lunch at our request because we ask him if we could extend the excursion for a small fee. He was very accommodating and his recommendation was superb. Our day could not have been any better.

One of the best private tours we have done. Charis picked us up in a very comfortable van and he was very professional and a fantastic driver. There are a lot of windy roads through the hills so you need a conscientious driver. He provided history of the islands and the sites and tailored his conversation to our interests. The monastery and church was stunning and evoked such emotion. Woman need to have their legs fully covered as well as shoulders, but they provide wraps for both. Next, the winery Orealios Gaea was fantastic! Beautiful views, warm and welcoming staff and great wines. We arrived before the cruise ship buses so they made sure to take care of us before the onslaught. We also toured the caves which were breath taking. There was time to visit a seaside village and have a bite to eat. Charis suggested a place that we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this tour and company. With three cruises in port, we were on one, he did a great job getting us everywhere without waiting.

The trip was great overall. Our driver was very helpful and friendly but not overbearing which was perfect. The Melissani Lake was quite a site to behold, truly beautiful place and we left with a lot of fun facts about it too. I would recommend timing your trip to get there just before midday. We also loved the Winery location with its amazing views.
