My father and I went on this tour and it was great. I can barely describe the feeling of finally seeing in person what I spent years reading about in history books. Our guide Rasha was wonderful! It was refreshing to finally have a female guide (I’ve only ever had male guides every country I’ve been to) who was able to provide a different perspective. She was knowledgeable, funny, and very accommodating to our needs. Our lunch was probably the best food we had in Egypt! My only complaint is that we were told to pay extra when we were picked up in the morning if we wanted a longer tour which included a longer camel ride and a few other things which honestly sounded made up but we paid anyway thinking maybe we misunderstood something. It turns out that when we finished the camel ride we had to pay the guy again directly! I did NOT like that at all, it definitely felt like we were being taken advantage of. It’s unfortunate because the point of booking ahead of time is to have everything paid for and not have to worry about money the day of. For this reason, I wouldn’t book again.First trip to Egypt and loved my tour. My guide - Ibrahim- was awesome! Very knowledgeable of Egyptian history, patient and accommodating. Highly recommend using the company and specifically Ibrahim, if you are looking for a great experience.

We had such a fulfilling day in Giza and Cairo! We unfortunately only had one day to see everything, but Ashraf from Tree of Life Tours helped us see everything we wanted to do! The best part was that everything was included (minus tipping your guide & driver). We started with the pyramids, and then took a 20 min camel ride near the pyramids! From there we saw the Sphinx (although we wish we had spent a little more time there). After we went to a souvenir shop and found some gifts including the Egyptian name necklaces. We then headed to the Papyrus shop where they showed us how papyrus is made. In both places, however, they do expect you to buy something so if you don’t want anything, I would request to skip these stops. We went to a restaurant for lunch and had a nice grilled chicken meal. From there we went to the Egyptian Museum and saw many interesting artifacts like King Tut’s golden head covering and treasure. Finally, we went to the bazaar and were able to find a few more souvenirs for cheap. Our guide walked us to the main street, but we were on our own as far as the haggling. One tip he said was to only pay 50% of the first price mentioned. This was a good place to start for the bartering. All in all it was great to see so much of Cairo in a short window and not have to figure everything out on your own.I had been to Cairo and the pyramids before, but our guide Gouda made my return trip much better than the first time. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. The 8-hour option meant that we saw lots of things in a single day. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our group of four adults had a terrific time on this tour of Cairo! Our tour included seeing the Great Pyramid, smaller pyramid, and Sphinx; visiting government-run shopping highlights (cartouches, papyrus, herbal/flower essences), the History Museum, and Kahn el-Khalili bazaar. We left at 8am and returned to our hotel around 5:30pm -- a jam-packed day! Our guide, Zenab, was extremely knowledgeable of the history of pyramids and Cairo city, and allowed us to spend time in the places we thought were most interesting. It was "our time" to use as we please, she emphasized. We also appreciated having a driver -- I can't imagine trying to get around as quickly on our own. Two considerations: entrance fees to the Giza pyramid sites and the museum are *not* included in the tour fee; you pay on the spot. Also there was debate about whether our tour included lunch (was not included in our itinerary, but I was told via a separate email that it was), so they did provide lunch to be safe. Overall, would definitely recommend this tour to others! We took 4 day tours while we were in Cairo. We took 4 day tours while we were in Cairo. One was to the Giza Pyramids and other pyramids near town, another was an overnight train to Luxor and back, then a day trip to Alexandria, and finally a tour to some of the important sites around Cairo. Our tour guide was Rado whose real name is Rod win. He was by far the best informed, most interesting, most helpful, and easiest to understand guide we had of all. When we express an interest to see some cartouches, he took us to a shop that had high-quality merchandise but was very reasonably priced. It was by far our best day trip of all the ones we took.
