Pheobe was our guide. She was really nice. She was informative, helpful, understanding, accommodating with fluent english. Excellent communication. It was really nice to have a private tour guide, it helped us spend as much time where we wanted. Really do whatever we wanted, that was great. Our driver was great as well. Quick. Had a nice car, drove well in traffic.

Had a meeting to attend in Hurghada and thought ( since I had to fly in from Cairo anyway ) that I'd take a day and soak in the sights of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and visit the famed Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Booking and confirmation was done and received promptly online - along with clear instructions. Now, I wasn't sure if by 'private', I'd be expected to share the day with other tourists ( since I'd encountered tours on previous trips to other countries where 'private' meant being in a small group' ) but I was thrilled to learn that I would indeed have the services of the guide and driver all to myself for the entire 8-hour duration. My guide ( Fatima ) and driver ( Ibrahim ) were the perfect company - they turned up on time ( actually early ) and had the most effervescent personalities to cheer up my morning. Fatima is truly a gem - she's articulate, funny, extremely knowledgeable and ( as a bonus ) super proficient at helping me take photos. I travel alone most of the time alone and since I do not subscribe to nor have the photo-taking skills of a 'social media influencer', I don't often end up with many nice picture memories of myself - just a whole lot of shaky selfies and photos of what I saw and where I've been. However, Fatima assisted ( more like directed haha ) with many photo opportunities whilst on the tour and gee, she's really good at it. She knew all the right spots, angles, etc and for once, I can truly enjoy the tours and experience the sights without having to worry about taking pictures of myself. The sights were indeed breathtaking - the Pyramids were awe-inspiring and the tour of the Museum most educational. There wasn't a whole lot to see at the Bazaar though ( perhaps it's the time of the day ) but since I wasn't big on shopping for curios and souvenirs, that suited me perfectly fine. There will of course be attempts made to have you drop by at 1 - 2 shops to 'experience local products' but a polite decline from my end was all it took for me to side-step that process. The day started with me thinking " Gee, 8 hours is a long time to spend touring" but both Fatima and Ibrahim made it felt like a breeze and at the end of the day, I felt I've made two new friends and had a productive and wonderful day spent in Cairo.

Excellent guide Zenab and driver Hosn provided an organized and smooth day. I recommend them 100%. The transport was modern and spotless. You get a lot done on this tour and it is all worthwhile. We especially loved the camel ride and taking photos at the pyramids, but the mummies and treasures at the museum are also something I will never forget.

We could not have hoped for a better day! We went to Egypt especially to See the pyramids so it was a really important part of our trip & Ashraf made it such a wonderful experience. He was funny, spoke amazing English, regularly asked if we were enjoying our day & taught us all the amazing history without it feeling like a history lesson. He was also fantastic in taking lots of photos for us so we could remember the day forever. THANK YOU for the best day of our trip. Will recommend you friends!

I had limited time in Cairo, so needed a tour which went to all the main places and this tour fit the bill. Pros: 1. great tour guide, Mohamed Gouda. He has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for his work. He took tons of pictures for me and was very personable. 2. The exhibits themselves were fascinating 3. Nice, clean car for transportation for the day. Cons: extra costs. At an already pretty steep price point, you are still responsible for the entrance fees and lunch. All in all, it was a great day and I would recommend to others.

We had such a fulfilling day in Giza and Cairo! We unfortunately only had one day to see everything, but Ashraf from Tree of Life Tours helped us see everything we wanted to do! The best part was that everything was included (minus tipping your guide & driver). We started with the pyramids, and then took a 20 min camel ride near the pyramids! From there we saw the Sphinx (although we wish we had spent a little more time there). After we went to a souvenir shop and found some gifts including the Egyptian name necklaces. We then headed to the Papyrus shop where they showed us how papyrus is made. In both places, however, they do expect you to buy something so if you don’t want anything, I would request to skip these stops. We went to a restaurant for lunch and had a nice grilled chicken meal. From there we went to the Egyptian Museum and saw many interesting artifacts like King Tut’s golden head covering and treasure. Finally, we went to the bazaar and were able to find a few more souvenirs for cheap. Our guide walked us to the main street, but we were on our own as far as the haggling. One tip he said was to only pay 50% of the first price mentioned. This was a good place to start for the bartering. All in all it was great to see so much of Cairo in a short window and not have to figure everything out on your own.

I had been to Cairo and the pyramids before, but our guide Gouda made my return trip much better than the first time. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. The 8-hour option meant that we saw lots of things in a single day. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our group of four adults had a terrific time on this tour of Cairo! Our tour included seeing the Great Pyramid, smaller pyramid, and Sphinx; visiting government-run shopping highlights (cartouches, papyrus, herbal/flower essences), the History Museum, and Kahn el-Khalili bazaar. We left at 8am and returned to our hotel around 5:30pm -- a jam-packed day! Our guide, Zenab, was extremely knowledgeable of the history of pyramids and Cairo city, and allowed us to spend time in the places we thought were most interesting. It was "our time" to use as we please, she emphasized. We also appreciated having a driver -- I can't imagine trying to get around as quickly on our own. Two considerations: entrance fees to the Giza pyramid sites and the museum are *not* included in the tour fee; you pay on the spot. Also there was debate about whether our tour included lunch (was not included in our itinerary, but I was told via a separate email that it was), so they did provide lunch to be safe. Overall, would definitely recommend this tour to others!

We took 4 day tours while we were in Cairo. One was to the Giza Pyramids and other pyramids near town, another was an overnight train to Luxor and back, then a day trip to Alexandria, and finally a tour to some of the important sites around Cairo. Our tour guide was Rado whose real name is Rod win. He was by far the best informed, most interesting, most helpful, and easiest to understand guide we had of all. When we express an interest to see some cartouches, he took us to a shop that had high-quality merchandise but was very reasonably priced. It was by far our best day trip of all the ones we took.

This was an incredible tour!! I was picked up on time from my hotel by Ashraf and Yasser. We started the day with a trip to the Giza pyramids and admired the amazing sights. Had the opportunity for a nice camel ride. Ashraf did a wonderful job explaining the history behind the pyramids. You learn a lot! Afterwards, went to see the Sphinx and learned more about that. We then moved on to visit the Papyrus museum and learned about using plants to make sheets. Afterwards, had a nice Egyptian lunch at a restaurant. We then moved on to visit Old Cairo and visit the historical churches including Babylon fortress and the Hanging church. It was amazing! Also visited the place where the holy family lived and learned a lot about that as well. Stopped at a souvenir shop to buy some great souvenirs. Ashraf was so nice and thoroughly appreciated his patience and effort in trying to make it an enjoyable tour for me. After some time walking around Coptic Cairo, we went to visit the Khan el Khalil Bazaar. This was originally not included in the tour but Ashraf kindly granted my wish and took me there. It was nice walking around the extended bazaar and looking at the various goods they sell. Afterwards, We drove around downtown Cairo including Tahrir square. Lastly, stopped at the Egyptian museum where they house 2000 artifacts from King Tut ( original king of Egypt ) that are 3000 years old. It was awesome and Ashraf did a wonderful job at explaining all the history behind the artifacts. After a wonderful full day of exploring Cairo and all the sights, went back to hotel for a small rest before preparing to go on a Nile River Dinner Cruise. The cruise was thoroughly fun and had great food! The belly dancing was fun to watch! Thank you Ashraf and Yasser for a wonderful time!! I highly recommend them!! You will not be disappointed!

We spent a brilliant day with Yasser (tour guide) and Salah (driver) seeing the highlights of Cairo including Giza, the Egyptian Museum and the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. Yasser was an excellent host and guide, proactively messaging and confirming with us one day before we had arrived in Egypt and made sure that the trip was well organized. He displayed an amazing knowledge of the various sites and artefacts, and was always on hand to take great photos. He took us for an excellent lunch overlooking the pyramids before an afternoon in the Museum and Bazaar. Yasser was polite, punctual and an all-round excellent host – I’d recommend him and this tour to anyone looking to see the sites of Cairo!

Overall, I had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Gouda, was very professional, knowledgeable, and was very punctual. Gouda was amazing and very patient with my 80+ year old grandmother who joined me for part of the tour. He always took time to giver her breaks and never complained about how slow we were going. The lunch was delicious and all the transfers were seamless and in an air conditioned car. I would recommend this trip!

We had a wonderful time visiting the pyramids, riding camels and going to the museum. Our guide, Radwan (not sure of the spelling) was charming, funny and highly articulate. An amazing guide! The tour was worth every penny!

We spent a day in Cairo with a wonderful tour guide Yasser. This being our first time in Cairo, Yasser made us felt very welcomed. He guided us around the pyramids at Giza including a camel ride, the bazaar and the Egyptian museum. Yasser was very knowledgeable about the history and current information on Egypt. He also made us feel very safe and conversed to become close as friends. It was very hot, but Yasser made sure we had water anytime we were dehydrated. He explained a lot of details that was very educational when we were in the museum. Yasser was a respected man when we traveled through the city and made sure that we didn't overpay on anything outrageous. I definitely would recommend this tour along with Yasser because he will provide great details and try to understand you as one of his own.

Very well organised tour, the guide met us in the hotel lobby and the vehicle was air conditioned. The views and history we witnessed were phenomenal, coupled with the guides knowledge of all aspects it made for an incredible experience. The guides name was Amal and she spoke fluent and accurate English which was very helpful. The private tour around the museum was fascinating and we would highly recommend this trip to all travellers.

We spent a lovely day with our wonderful tour guide Ashraf, who guided us through the pyramids at Giza, the bazaar and the Egyptian museum. Ashraf was knowledgeable, friendly and very personable. We got along very well with him, which helped make our day that much better. We drove around Giza and Cairo in a clean, comfortable and air-conditioned car driven by Youssef who expertly managed the chaotic traffic in Cairo. We were picked up at our Giza hotel and started the day at the pyramids. We did the trip inside the Great Pyramid which we do recommend since it is an experience, but beware that it can get quite claustrophobic inside given the narrow tunnels you'll be traveling through. We then drove around the pyramid complex until we got to the most breathtaking plateau view of the 3 pyramids. We did a short camel ride out toward the pyramids, where we got some of the best unobstructed pictures of the pyramids. We also toured the solar boat museum, which is optional and is an additional cost, but which we highly recommend! After the pyramids, we had the best falafel lunch at a local restaurant before heading toward Cairo. While driving around Cairo, Ashraf kept us abreast of everything we were seeing on our way to our destinations and gave us recommendations for things/places to see on our own after the tour. We then arrived at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar and after some advice on haggling and prices, were allowed to walk around and explore on our own. The Bazaar is vibrant, colorful and exciting to walk around. You can find everything you’d want to buy as a souvenir but beware of buying things that are pre-packaged and made in China. We relaxed a little after exploring with some Turkish coffee at a local coffee shop. We then ended the day at the Egyptian Museum, the highlight of which was the King Tutankhamun Collection. We got to see most of the treasures that were found inside his tomb, which we’d been to previously on our trip, and which are truly incredible! The museum has so many ancient treasures to see that it would take days to fully see everything, so I’d recommend going back for a second day if your trip allows. We ended our tour by being dropped off at our Cairo hotel. Ashraf and Youssef were kind enough to allow us to bring our luggage on the tour so we could transfer to our next hotel after the tour, and Youssef cared for them as we spent the day touring. This was a huge help for us! Overall this was the perfect day tour to see the pyramids and introduce us to Cairo. I highly recommend doing this tour and requesting Ashraf as your guide!

We have just arrived back at our hotel from an incredible full day with Mina our tour guide. As this was our first time in Cairo we were so excited to learn all about the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, the history at the museum and the local culture... We were not disappointed! Mina was so welcoming and informative from the moment he and Yussif (who was also fab!) picked us up, to the moment he dropped us off. Nothing was too much trouble. We headed to the pyramids first where we learnt all about the history and Mina took some great pictures of us for us. Then headed off to the Sphinx before driving into Cairo to have a walk around the market/bazaar and pop into a Papyrus museum/shop. The whole time he was full of knowledge and it was clear that he truly loved what he did which made us even happier to be in his company. Mina took us in to a Papyrus shop/museum where we were taught how to make Papyrus paper - this was fascinating. We even bought one of our own to take home! After the bazaar, we headed to the museum which was brilliant and we were taken back by the great artefacts and antiquities!! We had no worries about missing out on anything as Mina had it down to a tee to make sure we got to see and do everything we wanted throughout the day. Once we were finished at the museum, Yussif drove us all back to Giza for lunch with a view of the pyramids, the food and service was excellent. Mina gave us the chance to pop into a perfume museum (where I bought some lovely Lotus perfume) and bazaar on the way back (this was not part of the tour and we were so very grateful for his extra time and add ons!) All in all, it was a perfect day and we could not have asked for anything better! A huge thank you to both Mina and Yussif for being so wonderful and welcoming and for making our first trip to Egypt memorable!
