This is an incredibly valuable tour that highlights not only why clubs are more than just party spaces, but also why they are cultural venues and safer spaces, and why Berlin's hedonistic side is actually very political. The tour was very informative and interesting and the guide had an excellent knowledge of the subjects. This was a great journey through the history of clubs in Berlin, the role they played in the history of the city. Before the tour, I was skeptical about the use of an iPad during the tour, but we got to see really interesting historical footage/videos throughout the tour, which was really interesting and brought what we saw to life. The AR features were fun too. Learned helpful tips for clubbing in Berlin that I put to use. Definitely be prepared for a long tour, as it is one of the longer one I've taken in Berlin, but there are ample opportunities to sit throughout.Learning about the history of club culture in Berlin and how the different nightclubs developed into what they are today. The tour gets you excited and give you a fun preview of what to expect visiting the clubs :)
