Located 140 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra once dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Pass by Little Petra the Nabatean’s carvan stop before heading to the main city. Your visit to this hauntingly beautiful place begins with a walk through the Siq, a narrow path that was once the main entrance to the city. An impressively long, deep and narrow gorge of stunning natural beauty, the Siq is hemmed in by cliffs soaring up to 263 feet (80 meters), and measures three-quarters of a mile (1.2 kilometers).

You will depart from Amman or the airport to Petra via an air-conditioned sedan, you will have the opportunity to stop and take a break as the journey is close to 2.5 hours south.

Stop At: Petra Visitors Center, Tourism Street, Petra - Wadi Musa Jordan
Once you are in Petra at the Petra Visitor Center, a guide can be arranged after your ticket purchase and your meeting point to start your tour of Petra. Your dedicated English-speaking tour guide will lead the tour inside Petra and arrange entrance and logistics. It is advised to stay close to your guide to capture the details of the fascinating history of the Nabateans who built the city out of rocks. You will have the opportunity to rest, eat, drink, and use the facilities while in Petra, just inform your guide.

My first trip to Jordan with a dear friend was full of surprises and beautiful emotions. The vacation lasted only 3 days but we were able to visit many places thanks to the transportation service provided by the company. Before leaving on Saturday from Rome, we booked the one-day tour from Amman to Petra and on Sunday morning Hamdan picked us up at the meeting point near the hotel. The trip to Petra took about 3 and a half hours but was comfortable and pleasant with a stop along the way to visit a beautiful mosaic and souvenir store. Hamdan was an excellent driver, drove safely and comfortably and communicated with us in English providing some information about Jordan. The tour of Petra was exciting and Hamdan waited patiently for us at the exit until the tour was over. In the car in addition to air conditioning, wifi and powerbank we also found some bottles of water. On the way back Hamdan introduced us to a small restaurant where we could sample traditional Jordanian dishes before returning to the hotel. The next day we planned a trip to Mount Nebo, the Baptism site and the Dead Sea. On the way back we wanted to eat a good hamburger and Hamdan found a nice English-style pub for us. On the last day we chose to visit Amman: the Citadel and the Archaeological Museum, the Roman Theater and the Museum of Folk Traditions and finally the Mosque of King Abdullah. At the end Hamdan gave us some delicious falafel and suggested a bakery with excellent sweets. It was an unforgettable trip thanks also to the professionalism and courtesy of the who was very kind to us, tried to make us comfortable and acted like a friend. We are very satisfied with the service provided by the company. Special thanks to Hamdan who accompanied us for the 3 days. We were fascinated by the beauty of Jordan and will have to come back to visit other cities.Agnieszka B

Fantastic trip with a knowladgable and interesting driver! You can suggest your own pickup times and Hassan tried to fulfill every wish! The best driver in Jordan. We enjoyed every moment of the day! Petra made us speechless! We would recommend this trip to anybody!

I had an amazing trip to Petra thanks to Abu Anas! From the beginning he was punctual and friendly, and made his best effort to make me at ease throughout the journey. I had an amazing trip to Petra thanks to Abu Anas! From the beginning he was punctual and friendly, and made his best effort to make me at ease throughout the journey. He made stops to a Bazaar and a few historical locations, which made the journey much more enjoyable and gave me more excitement for the trip! He was also very generous, putting my comfort and experience as the priority. He waited nearby for around 4 hours until I was finished with Petra, and then took me to a place to have local Jordanian food. He was in great spirits throughout the trip, discussing a lot of very interesting topics and teaching me more about the history and culture of the region and the country. I developed an instant connection with him and felt at ease throughout the trip thanks to his pleasant personality. 10/10 would recommend again!grahamsM3146KT
