Spend a morning or afternoon to visit Hoi An rural villages by bike. You'll visit friendly local families on Cam Kim island, experience first-hand traditional crafts and local way of life. The route is very quiet and flat, away from crowds & tourist hub. Unique route and special experiences:
Bike aross a scenic bridge to Cam Kim island, see fishing villages, endless rice paddies, veggie gardens, prawn farms.
Visit a local home, use stone mill to grind rice, make rice papers and snacks, sit down to enjoy.
Visit a local home, see how they make lots of rice wine to keep everyone happy.
Stop for tasty Vietnamese coffee & Use toilet.
Visit Tra Nhieu fishing village, weave colorful straw mats.
Visit a unique whale worshiping temple.
Visit Kim Bong carpentry village, see local people carve wood and use seashell to make furniture.
We then cycle back to Hoi An.

A real treat with this private tour. Our guide Tu Le made everything so easy from booking to the end of our tour. If you are looking to see the real Vietnam full of tradition and local people, this is the tour for you. Some of the money goes back into the community too. This bicycle tour was one of the top highlights of our two week trip in Vietnam! We had the best time exploring the countryside and islands by bicycle and truly enjoyed meeting amazing local people who showed us how to grind rice and make a few traditional dishes, make basket boats, and weave sl...
This bicycle tour was one of the top highlights of our two week trip in Vietnam! We had the best time exploring the countryside and islands by bicycle and truly enjoyed meeting amazing local people who showed us how to grind rice and make a few traditional dishes, make basket boats, and weave sleeping mats. We stopped for coffee to cool off at a fun cafe along the way. We ended our tour with a delicious lunch at a beachside restaurant and then enjoyed the beautiful beach! Ben was the best tour guide, and we had so much fun with him! He was our tour guide for two days, and we were sad to say goodbye at the end of our fabulous tours with him! His English is excellent, he was super knowledgeable about everything he showed us, and he taught us so much while making it fun at the same time! He also took wonderful pictures of us along the tours! We highly recommend Local Buddy Tours, and we will treasure the memories we made for many years to come!!428ulriker

We had a great morning tour with Ben. From the welcome to the last coffee it was perfect. Ben knows so much about the area, the people, and the craftsmanship. It is a leisurely tour through the villages, where you stop again and again at selected houses & you help people in their daily work. We liked that this is not just a show, you also learn something about the people and the entire tour is not overly touristy. All in all, a real stroke of luck!
