WOW, what a fantastic day. Our guide Lanh was simply amazing. Such a lovely person, great insights and fantastic knowledge. We had a brilliant afternoon tour, exploring parts of Hoi A that are off the beaten track. Stopped off at three different craft places in the various villages and met some wonderful local people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. All finished off with a drink and boat trip back to the meeting point. My wife and I had the best time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our private bike ride around the Hoi An countryside! Ting was an awesome guide - informative and engaging. Alongside the amazing ride we also got to make and taste our own rice paper creations, try our skills at carpentry and help out with some local mat weaving. Definitely recommend!

Excellent bike tour with John as a guide, who was very knowledgeable. Even though the weather conditions were not the best, we made a great day out of it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to see the real rural life in Hoi An, meet local craftsmen, bike in the villages and have some nice Vietnamese food in the end. The boat ride in the end was very fun as well.5 out of 5!!!

We very much enjoyed this tour with Local Buddy’s. It was really great to leave the hectic center of Hoi An and enjoy the quiet and beautiful scenery around Hoi An. Ben and his colleague Phuong took great care of us and our kids. We visited some of the local homes to take a look at traditional crafts with the people taking pride in their skills.

We really enjoyed our rural villages bike tour with Carol. She took us on a route that showed nature, away from the busy tourist area. The coffee spot is stunning amongst rice fields. There were plenty of stops and enjoyable conversation with Carol. Thanks for a nice tour.

A return visit to Hoi An after 4 years led us to book 3 tours with Buddy tours and they were all an amazing time. Ben and his staff are all exceptional guides, making it feel as though you're being taken around town by friends rather than tour guides. Their knowledge of the area and it's history is very impressive and they are super friendly. We did the Hai Van pass and marble mountain tour, Ba Na hills tour and the countryside by motorbike tour. I would highly recommend all three of them. A must do in Hoi An.

An amazing day doing the Bike Tour to Hoi An rural villages, our guides Carol and Phuong were fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, great to see and meet the locals, plus the best view from a coffee shop we’ve ever seen, lunch was really good, would highly recommend.

Our Tour guide Ben was amazing, we drove around the landside with Scooter and got to amazing stuff douring our day. I can highly recommend to go with Ben if you want to have a good experience.

It was anazingggg! Loved ever bit of it. Explored local culture, country side and a very beautiful coffee shop. The tour is fine for beginners also, as I am not an expert rider. Thahn our guide was super helpful and informative. We ended in having an amazing dinner. Worth 💯

We had the best bike ride around Cam Kim island with Lan from Local Buddy Tours. She had excellent local knowledge of the area and was very generous with her time. We absolutely LOVED our cycle ride with Local Buddy Tours. After a week in Vietnam, it was our best day so far. The guide Thanh was very fun, friendly and knowledgeable. The company share their profits with local villagers. The cycle was gorgeous - the itinerary above doesn’t really do the tour justice; you see rice paddies, help local weavers make straw mats, try out rice noodles and pancakes you freshly make with a local villager (even in the non-lunch tour), see a fishing village, visit an ancestral home and a temple for the sea gods, and see much much more. The tour also includes a fresh drink in a beautiful cafe in the middle of a rice paddy. The cycle is easy - it’s about 20km but all flat and on clear paths. You stop often to learn about different crops and customs. Can’t recommend this tour and company enough.

We had a wonderful time with our tour guides, Carol and Ha. It was simply divine to visit Hoi An rural areas in a relaxed way. We visited family that makes crushed rice paper cakes and one that weaves traditional sleeping mat. We had such fun trying ourselves. The girls were eager to share the love of their country and as well eager to learn from you. We stopped at coffee shop Lo Gach Cu. The drinks were delightful as was the conversation with the owner. We opted not to have lunch (included in the tour) but don’t have any doubts that it would be fabulous. Highly recommended!!

We had an amazing day out exploring the rural villages of Vietnam, we received a very warm welcome from Thanh and Carol and enjoyed spending our day with them both. They are both very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions to the local people, we learnt a lot about the Vietnamese culture. It was definitely a highlight of our trip so far and well worth the money. We would highly recommend this trip and knowing some of funds goes to the local families and businesses made the experience more special.

We had a great day with Ben, visiting local villagers by bike and learning about how they make a living. It was really interesting and there was no hard sell which was also great. The scenery and the people were both lovely and Ben was a great guide. We highly recommend this tour to others.

Definitely one of the best tours we've ever done. Thanh and Phuong were such great company that it felt like we were on a day out with friends, not a commercial tour. Thanh is incredibly knowledgeable about the area surrounding Hoi An and at every stop, he helped us to talk directly to the people who lived there. It was also really nice to see proceeds going straight to the local people. A chilled out, enjoyable day finished off with an absolutely delicious meal.

Wow what an incredible experience. A bike ride through a little village to a small Vietnamese island. We rode to the ferry then when we arrived the other end we stopped at a local carpenters sculptural workshop, ship repair yard, whale worship temple with whale bones, touched shy plant, Vietnamese mattress weave making, rice wine making with a singsong about he lost his friend and left leg in the Cambodian war, then onto making our own rice pancakes making, then cycled back to the ferry for lunch. The tour guides went way beyond my expectations. Memories overload.
