• amok fish - amok is the national curry dish. made a lot of fresh herbs. the classical is made with fish but available with chicken vegetable or tofu
• banana passion flambeed - banana cooked in passion fruit juice and flambeed with rum

Teacher Channay was very informative and created a fun atmosphere for learning about Khmer food and culture. Food tasted amazing. A tip for if you do go: the market we went too seemed to be a market that was busier in the mornings and calmer later in the day, so plan accordingly for what you want to see at the market.We paid for the basic package ($19/person) and it was totally worth it! We ended up getting a private session since we were the only 3 that signed up and Channay was amazing! She was very attentive and kind and truly cares about cooking and showing Khmer culture to foreigners. I highly recommend!

We booked this super last minute, the morning of the day we wanted to do it but the team were so lovely and accommodating. We had Sam as our teacher and she was brilliant, couldn’t fault her. It was only me and my friend in the class. We got to choose a starter, main and dessert each to cook, so we chose different things to try the different dishes. Sam was so hopeful and friendly towards us and going around the market was interesting. It was an absolute bargain at $19 each, much cheaper than some others we saw and you get to choose what you make which is great. Would highly recommend this experience, we can’t wait to get home and make a curry for our friends and family. Thanks guys! :)Amazing cooking class! We went back the next day as a consequence as we understood more and purchased some bits. The food was incredible and they let you eat in their stunning restaurant after. Could not have wished for a better evening.
