We had the best days with Mr. Thisath at Go Ceylon Tours, couldn't recommend more highly. Very safe driver, excellent English, very considerate, caring and generous with his knowledge. We learned a lot about the real Sri Lanka. We fit so much in, in just seven short days, and had lots of laughs along the way doing it. Well worth the money, though we shopped around and rates were very competitive. Nothing was too much trouble, incredible to see ancient caves and wildlife (we counted more than 50 elephants in one half day safari in Minneriya) and climbs big Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, eat amazing food, have enlightening conversation. Very hard working and pleasant guide, he worked so many more hours within day than we expected to give us a brilliant seven days, extremely selfless. We experienced having a driver in Sri Lanka for 9 days at the end of September 2023. We chose this company because they offered good rates for Accommodation and Transportation. As well as very smooth communication and quick responding. We had a wonderful experience of this country thanks to our Guide, Madusanka, who shared all his vast knowledge of his country and his habits. Not only he was our Guide and Driver. But he was also our Best Friend like familiar. Thanks to him, we enjoyed unusual places and restaurants. We have booked our Honeymoon trip to SriLanka for 5 days. We had a wonderful tour guide Mr. Madhusankar for our entire trip. He was so humble and kind. Though it is a first time travel outside India, we enjoyed a most memorable trip. We landed in Colombo and travelled to Kandy in Mr. Madhusankar's car. The drive was very pleasant as we could feel cool weather and kind hospitality. Our tour guide stopped at some significant places on the way. Whatever we drove, it was never a straight boring ride. We stopped in many local shops and indigenous shopping items. We have experienced SriLanka more than our itinerary. There were some technical factory tips additionally given by our tour guide. Choice of hotels and restaurants were do customized and to our likings. We travelled around SriLanka from Colombo to Kandy, Nuwaraeliya, Elle, Yala, Galle, and Bentota. Mr. Madhusankar took us to all significant places and made us experience unique Srilankan experience from stay, food, travel and comfort. Overall we got a unforgettable memories and a friend Mr. Madhusankar in our entire trip.
