We had seven days tour in Sri Lanka with Go Ceylon Tours, with a private tour for me and my family. We were very satisfied with the support that Mr. Madusanka gave us to choose our itinerary. He was very patient with our requests. I recently used Go Ceylon Tours for my trip Sri Lanka and have had the most amazing trip. The itinerary booking, planning, etc. was done so smoothly without any troubles or hassle. Madusanka Karunarathna was an amazing Travel guide . The tour was well organised, and was always open to last minute changes from our side. He’s punctual and has great knowledge about whole of Sri Lanka. We really enjoyed the whole trip as a family, and will definitely recommend.

Our 5 day Srilankan trip was indeed a memorable one with our chauffeur as Madusanka. We were a little worried about the trip since we were travelling with our baby..but the way he supported us throughout the journey is commendable. Needless to say even our 18 months baby became good friends with him by the end of the trip..he was systematic, understanding and friendly all at the same time. Anyone who gets him to assist you for an amazing Srilankan trip - you are in the best hands. :)

We had a couple of extra requests including a couple of extra days. Nothing was a problem for Mr Madusanka and his guide Mr Keerthi. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend both Sri Lanka and Go Ceylon Tours.

An excellent company to deal with! Mr Madusanka was very informative about the booking and holiday experience and kept in constant communication in the lead up to our holiday as I had extended our trip by an extra few days. It was my husband and I with a driver, Mr Keerthi, who has 17yrs experience doing this and similar tours for Go Ceylon. The difference in communication and customs was easily overcome and he even took us to his family home where we met his wife who gave us drinks and cake. The first couple of days of this tour involved lots of climbing (Sigiriya/Dambulla etc) so you need to pack some comfortable shoes (hubby did one of them in thongs then wised up and wore boots for the others) We definitely slept well! Like all the other reviews say, take a light sarong for the temples (no knees or shoulders) and socks don't hurt either as the ground can be hot. Keep small notes for the people that mind your shoes and hat or a backpack to store them in. Accommodation is all good although out of town a bit. Each had amazing views and we were quite knackered from the big days so we were more than happy to laze in the pool (all had pools except Colombo). Hotel at Galle was the best for us as we could walk straight outside to the beach then back to the pool before breakfast. Breakfast and dinner was supplied by the hotels with some hits and misses but that's to be expected with culture differences. As long as you like eggs and rice, you're set. I love both. Some notable extras were the elephant safari, climbing Mr Sigiriya and Relic Tooth Temple. All in all, definitely a trip worth doing!

My family and I had a great time in Srilanka. The plan was perfectly paced and kept us engaged for the entire duration. The logistics were taken care of and we did not have to bother about anything. This tour has variety of activities and something new everyday. We particularly enjoyed Sigiriya, Dambulla, Jeep Safari and turtle hatchery. Our trip was made special because of our guide Madusanka. He is very friendly and accommodative to our needs. He made sure the planned itineraries for the day are covered. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time in Srilanka! The trip was very nicely planned and all details were taken care of. From important historic sites to majestic mountains, well preserved national parks and beautiful pristine beaches, this trip was full of variety and never a dull moment! My daughter loves animals and she loved the jeep safari and turtle hatchery. A special thanks to our amazing, punctual and fun guide Madusanka. He was delight to travel with and gave us many suggestions on best time to visit a site, great food choices. His hospitality and grace made our experience extra memorable.

The best travel agency Go Ceylon Tours helped us a lot with the design of the tour itinerary. It was a big help as ours was a last minute trip and we didn't have much time for research or preparation. They replied our emails quickly in a very friendly and efficient way proposing alternative visits along the route. You need to be aware that in Sri Lanka distances are not big however travelling by car takes a really long time due to the roads and traffic facts that googlemaps doesn't take into account. Overall it was a perfect 8 days trip around Sri Lanka thanks to our chauffeur Madusanka. He is very professional, knowledgable and an excellent driver and we really recommend him if available. Our experience with Sri Lanka Go Ceylon Tours was absolutely great. The communication and organization of our trip with the company was very easy and we easily found them at the airport waiting for us. However, what made our trip fantastic was our lovely driver Madusanka. He was pleasant to travel with, easygoing, kind and always ready to help us. Me and my family had a great time discovering Sri Lanka. We had a great experience mostly thanks to our Chauffeur Madusanka from Sri Lanka Go Ceylon Tours. He was also our personal guide during the whole trip and helped us with choosing good places to eat, choose guides in the temples, stopping and taking us from the right places, explaining absolutelly everything we asked about local culture cuisines, etc. Told us the regular fees for services so we did not get charged extra and many thingsmore that i cannot remember right now. His english was one of the best we’ve encountered during our trip. We had the best days with Mr. Thisath at Go Ceylon Tours, couldn't recommend more highly. Very safe driver, excellent English, very considerate, caring and generous with his knowledge. We learned a lot about the real Sri Lanka. We fit so much in, in just seven short days, and had lots of laughs along the way doing it. Well worth the money, though we shopped around and rates were very competitive. Nothing was too much trouble, incredible to see ancient caves and wildlife (we counted more than 50 elephants in one half day safari in Minneriya) and climbs big Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, eat amazing food, have enlightening conversation. Very hard working and pleasant guide, he worked so many more hours within day than we expected to give us a brilliant seven days, extremely selfless. Will hope he is still working as a guide for when we return. Memories to last a lifetime, thank you!!!

You must come to Sri Lanka, it’s worth to visit. Had better stay more than 10 days to enjoy this beautiful country. The best way to travel in Sri Lanka is hiring a driver especially “ Madusanka Karunarathna ”. He is the man who can arrange everything for you and take care of you just like your best friend always with you. No matter where you want to go, how early in the morning, what kind of emergency things happened. Just tell Madusanka and he will show up in front of your hotel. We experienced having a driver in Sri Lanka for 9 days at the end of September 2023. We chose this company because they offered good rates for Accommodation and Transportation. As well as very smooth communication and quick responding. We had a wonderful experience of this country thanks to our Guide, Madusanka, who shared all his vast knowledge of his country and his habits. Not only he was our Guide and Driver. But he was also our Best Friend like familiar. Thanks to him, we enjoyed unusual places and restaurants. We even saved some money when he advised us the best value for money places and bargained with locals for us. We were able to call him day and night without notice.
