What to expect
When you first visiting a town like Nafplio and you have only few hours to spend, then this is the perfect package for you!Get to know the main attractions of the city, ride beneath the walls of Acronafplia, admire the panoramic view of the Venetian castles Palamidi and Bourtzi.
Before you get tired, we will visit the famous local post-Byzantine monastery through olive groves and panoramic views of Nafplio and the argolic gulf.
On the way back as it is only downhill and straight you will be able to enjoy other local delicacies, in mini markets, bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores hidden in neighborhoods of Nafplio, where you will find and talk only with locals.
A pleasant cycle tour which is ideal for families too.

I recently just got back from a two week study abroad session with my school which GrecoPaths hosted and stayed in Athens and Nafplio. This experience was so amazing because of Stavroula, Panos, and the whole team which made everything so memorable. There were so many activities and options to do everyday. I experienced so many delicious taste testings and ate so much cheese, bread, olive oil, tomatoes, and honey. There were several hikes we went on with incredible views, I visited a vineyard, cheese factories, local fisheries, and local pasta shops. Nafplio was the cutest and quaint town and all the food was so delicious because everything so local and fresh. Stavroula was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and fun as a tour guide and I highly recommend GrecoPaths!!Steve L

Wanting a tasting experience that only a local could provide, we hired Grecopaths. Owner and founder Stavroula personally led our tour. Our 3.5 hour tour was really much longer than that and we experienced Nafplio in a way we could never have done on our own. Stavroula is so engaging and personable - it was hard to see the tour end. We felt as if we were saying goodbye to a great friend. The food and drink was superb and the business owners of the establishments went out of their way to greet, sit with us and share their love of food. An amazing day!Danai K

I decided to combine my visit to the theater of Epidavros with an alternative tour and Grecopaths organised the perfect one day tour! It included an amazing hiking tour through hidden ancient paths among olive trees, tours to local businesses and tasting of their olive oil and cheese, guidance to the big but also the small theater of Epidavros with explaining the history behind, a wonderful picnic with local products and fresh orange juice in nature near crops of oranges and vegetables! My sister and I along with a new guide Phillip had a wonderful half day cycling around Nafplio with our excellent guide Carola. Not only did she show us around but gave us the history of the area. We had four stops along the way to drink and taste local food products. We visited the monastery just out of Nafplio and met Panos who had laid a lovely picnic of tastes from around this area of the Peloponnese. A very big thank you to Stavroula for organizing such a special day for us! We arrived in Nafplio for 2 nights and one of our interests was to visit some wineries in the Nemea area. However, we hadn't made any bookings before we arrived. As it was high season, many wineries were already booked for wine tastings. Thanks to Stavroula, who was able to organize a last-minute full-day private tour for the two of us! We started our wonderful day by driving to the Nemea area and visiting and touring a well-known winery. We then spent the afternoon at a family-owned winery. Not only did we have a personal tour of the vineyards by the owner, we were delighted to enjoy fresh grapes right from the vines and fresh fruit from their garden. Our day only got better as we were treated to a robust home-cooked lunch prepared by the lovely family. Everything was absolutely delicious: with fresh vegetables and herbs freshly picked from their garden to the home-made cheese, their own olive oil, and of course, their amazing wine and tsipouro! Sitting around the table, sharing the tasty food and exchanging stories of our experiences and lives was something we will never forget, and it was a highlight of our two-week trip in Greece. My bike tour with Stavroula from Grecopaths was the absolute highlight of my vacation last week! Stavroula is a wonderful guide, familiar with all the nooks and crannies of Nafplio, her beautiful hometown. When I first met her early in the morning, I immediately fell in love with her warmth and tremendous energy. She and her business partner Panos (a skilled chef who runs the culinary side of Grecopaths) had been thoughtful enough to bring 2 bikes so I could choose the one I felt most comfortable with. Stavroula also brought plenty of water, fruit and even a delicious homemade cake. What more could anyone ask for? We cycled around the village, up and down picturesque hills, passed an impressive well-kept monastery, and rode all the way down to the beach in the neighboring town of Tolo - while the deep blue sea and surrounding mountains in the distance supplied never-ending gorgeous views. Stavroula very quickly picked up on a pace which was super-comfortable for me, and while we sped down the hills, we rather took our time climbing them :) – which was great. I loved all the folktales and historic background which my knowledgeable guide imparted when we took breaks to admire the views and take photos. The next day, my wonderful guide sent me fabulous photos and even a video. I will never forget the amazing experience of my bike tour with the fabulous Stavroula in beautiful Nafplio.
