What to expect
Private surf lessons are for a person who wants individualized attention and isn’t interested in sharing his/her waves with others:). There are many reasons why someone would request a private lesson: (A) He/she is not comfortable in the water, (B) He/she took a lesson before and wants to go for bigger waves, (C) He/she wants the focus of the instructor and does not want to wait for other people to catch a wave before his/her next wave

I can honestly say that learning to surf with them has been the highlight of my trip. I can only hope to keep practicing so I can come back to surf with them in the future!Had a great session with Shane and Neil. They got me standing up right away and I was able to catch and stand on like 20 waves. Super nice people too, definitely recommended!

So if you’re looking for a safe and fun way to swim past your comfort zone, this is your go-to! 😊Shane and his fellow were experienced, patience and helpful. Me and my friend were first time surfer and only have some experience skiing. At the end of the lesions, both of us managed to stand on the board and do real surfing! At the end of the lesions, both of us managed to stand on the board and do real surfing! The location is at the west of Waikiki beach and the waves were mild. Watch out for the reef cause it will hurt your foot.Shane goes above and beyond. Up surfing on the 2nd wave. They literally treated us like family. Shane goes above and beyond. Up surfing on the 2nd wave. They literally treated us like family. Personally I have copd and the day I got off the plane I was having issues catching my breath. This guy was my uber driver as well. The pharmacy was closed and Shane offered to pick my prescription up and drop it off for me. After a couple days I was finally feeling good. He picked my step son and myself up took us to the surfing location. He gave us great instructions and we did a prayer and off we went. This man knowing my breathing was an issue towed me out to the waves. We had the best time ever in the ocean. I made a great friend that day. Oh and his awesome daughter shreds on the water. Do yourself a favor don't book with resort lessons. Call Shane. He'll take great care of you.
