Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong, Cat Ba Vietnam
Lan Ha Bay is made up of around 300 karst islands and limestone sea rocks and can be found southeast of Cat Ba Island. As a geological extension of Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay is equally as beautiful although it is less visited, less inhabited and therefore has the extra appeal of being a more peaceful place.

Stop At: Ti Top Island
Ti Top island is located about 14 kilometers to the east of Bai Chay tourist harbor. It has a beach that is shaped like a crescent moon and known for its tranquillity and beautiful still blue waters. The sands of the beach have been dyed white by the ocean’s surf creating a perfect picture of paradise.

Stop At: Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, Ha Long Bay, Halong City
Surprising Cave (Hang Sửng Sốt) Halong Bay’s Largest Cave .
Located in Bo Hon Island, Sung Sot cave is the largest and one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. It is where you can find many rocky islands concentrated in different strange and distinct shapes.
The first thing you may think when setting foot in the cave is that it is just a very small area. However, you will be surprised after passing through the rocky slot and go inside. The area is so huge, stretching about 10.0000 square meters in width. Many tourists are surprised by its majestic beauty and the huge expansion. Maybe that’s the reason why it is called “Sung Sot Cave” or “Surprising Cave”

Day 2: Visit the biggest cave in Halong: Suprising cave
Stop At: Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, Ha Long Bay, Halong City
Famous with the biggest cave in Halong bay. And beautiful with stalagmites and stalagtiles.
Duration: 45 minutes
Meals included:
• Breakfast: Take your breakfast in the morning with sunrise in the middle of the bay.
• Lunch: Take a special local seafood lunch served on cruise.

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
The actual tour didn't match the itinerary that was listed when I booked, however it did uphold the promise of timing everything so that you weren't always following the crowds - a big bonus! Our guide, Thanh, was great fun, really attentive and worked tirelessly to keep us all entertained and...
The actual tour didn't match the itinerary that was listed when I booked, however it did uphold the promise of timing everything so that you weren't always following the crowds - a big bonus! Our guide, Thanh, was great fun, really attentive and worked tirelessly to keep us all entertained and happy. The boat was very comfortable and the food was absolutely fantastic. Halong Bay itself is beautiful - albeit slightly marred by the hundreds of tourist boats chugging noisily around and kicking out pollution and rubbish. If I was to do this again I'd be looking for an eco-friendly version!
We went on the 2 Day Halong Bay Tour, a more expensive one but worth penny. The food was excellent and the room, bus to Halong very good and exclusive. I Can highly recommend this la pinta Cruise (Not a fully packed Partyboat. We were a couple, 54 years..and there were 12 more passangers, couples...

This company offers two options: a party cruise with hostel-style dorms (bring your own meals/food is terrible) and a luxury with doors that don't lock from the balconies. Both follow a similar itinerary. The crew and food on the luxury were wonderful, but it was full of bored children without activities to do. Water is VERY polluted, activities like kayaking were cut short, crew added to the garbage in the water instead of cleaning it. The water is FULL OF GARBAGE and I didn't appreciate being ogled by a large group of crew. Boats were parked among other companies at night, so nighttime photography wasn't possible (too much light).Very expensive and not worth the price!!
Just wow! Totally worth every penny!! The rooms are fantastic (and actually pretty big!). The staff goes way above and beyond. And, of course, Halong Bay is spectacular.

The company had agreed to pick us up from a hotel and we paid on that basis. When we arrived in Hanoi they told us oh sorry we cant pick you up anymore. Instead we had to make a 20-minute walk to that headquarters with all of our luggage very disappointed.

The cave tour was a highlight for us. Pretty amazing. Couldn’t recommend the trip enough. One thing to note is there are two types of boats - the “Party” boat and the “classic” (quieter) boat. Be sure to ask for the one you prefer when you book!
