What to expect
Our Big Sky Zipline is located on the Gallatin River off of Highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana, just over an hour’s drive from West Yellowstone. The dramatic scenery includes towering limestone cliffs, pine forests, and a rushing river. You may recognize this area as the movie ‘A River Runs Through It was filmed here! We offer two tours: A Classic and Super ZipLine near Big Sky. Both of these tours start by ascending sky bridges to a tree platform 55 ft in the air, as well as including two zips across the beautiful Gallatin River. The Super Zip features more adventurous elements that test your balance on swinging wooden bridges and an optional cargo net climb. Max weight per participant 260 lbs.

I reviewed as many zip-line outfitters as could be found in the YellowStone area and settled on MontanaWhiteWater. I'm really glad we did NOT chose another outfitter, they were great! Our guides were Tana and Trevor, if we ever return I'll request them both again. We were their first group of the day and it started out cold that morning, so it was early, cold, and hard to get excited at the start but that changed very quickly. The zips were super fun and our group bonded quickly with the help and inspiration of our guides. The equipment and platforms appear to be top notch and safety protocols were worry free with the help of Tana and Tevor! Thank You!Our guides Brian and Sarah were great! They made it fun and we felt safe. We did the Classic course and it's not too scary. I would have liked to do the harder course but was lucky to get my husband on Classic since he does not like heights! :)

They both made the trip enjoyable with their wit and their ability to keep us safe at al times. The Gallatin River is beautiful and we loved “flying” over it!

They were awesome guides - not only did they keep us safe but brought humor and fun to the morning! Our son was a bit sacred and they were awesome in encouraging him and giving him the confidence to keep going! Would highly recommend!!!!
