What to expect
Itinerary
Just under 45 minutes outside of Placencia Village, we’ll arrive at Mayan King.
We’ll enjoy seven zip Lines and a couple of bridges, enjoying the views from as high as 400 feet into the treetops. The longest line is 1300 feet. The lines crisscross over the river and valley below.
This activity is easy for all ages. Children are welcome but may need to go harnessed to another rider or guide.
Then we’ll take a short hike down to the South Stann Creek River. We’ll ride the river for about 45 minutes through mostly calm waters, with a few quick rapids along the way. For safety, life jackets and helmets are provided. We’ll also have two guides – one at the beginning and one at the end of our group – to help navigate the waters.
Finally, we take a short drive to the waterfall – enjoy the pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere of the natural waterfall.

We took this tour on our recent stay in Placencia. We booked through our concierge at Sirenian Bay. Captain Jak's driver was at our resort as scheduled in a comfortable (air conditioned!) van. The driver was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him about the area. We had never ziplined before and were pretty nervous, but the guides were clearly very professional and safety conscious. I don't have comparison to other ziplines but the views were amazing. This requires what I would call moderate exertion to climb (steps) to some of the ziplines but not too hard. The tubing was really nice especially after the heat during ziplining. Moderate rapids were a lot of fun and then just a lazy float in cool water rest of way. Note the water levels were low at our visit, entire float took about an hour. Lunch at a local restaurant was simple and very good. Last, the waterfall was really pretty and cold water felt great for a dip. Back to our resort by 3p. Highly recommend.F3918LXsamantham

It was a great time!! Me and my friends throughly enjoyed our morning and afternoon with all the crew! Peter and Fernando were our zip lining guys and they were so nice, funny, and made the first timers feel very safe. Everyone was so hospitable and made the day very relaxing and memorable. Willy...

Peter and Fernando were our zip lining guys and they were so nice, funny, and made the first timers feel very safe. Everyone was so hospitable and made the day very relaxing and memorable. Willy and Yadelson were our tubing guides and they worked so hard to keep us together down the river. Bas (our bus driver) took us to the waterfall and it was super fun! They all work to accommodate everything from pick up and drop off, to cooling towels after ziplining, and then a great lunch. It was a wonderful experience!Jonathan01092021
