We took this tour in September and it was a great experience. The bus ride up the White Pass gave an appreciation to how unique Skagway is and how beautiful the landscape is. You journey up the White Pass to the summit which brings you to the legendary Chilkoot Pass and Fraser British Columbia. At the in BC you experience the Yukon Suspension Bridge. This brings you back to the time of the Yukon gold rush. The reconstruction of the bridge, log cabin and food cache is well done. The information boards with imagery is well done. The hosts were very friendly and answered all questions. The souvenirs and reasonably priced. The ride back on the train through the White Pass is amazing. The history is mind blowing. You actually see the original foot path "Golden Stair Case" that was used by the prospectors of the day. Many photo opportunities. The train crawls along the edge of the pass, through 2 tunnels, over bridges. There is even a caboose that has been transformed into an overnight cabin that the train will drop you off at and pick you up the next day. Well worth the money. Our guide Dana Sohm gave us a tour of a lifetime. He was very informed on the history of the Yukon railroad and gold rush. Our guide Dana Sohm gave us a tour of a lifetime. He was very informed on the history of the Yukon railroad and gold rush. We saw waterfalls, lakes with brilliant blue water but the highlight was seeing a black bear. He took his time so we could take pictures and he took picture of us. Dana was a genuinely kind person and I would highly recommend this tour. Through an excursion booked through our cruise ship, we rode the railway to the summit and then did the Yukon Suspension Bridge. While suspension bridges are probably the same everywhere, the welcome center was nice, and our tour guide on the coach -- I think it was Candace -- was fantastic. And the railway itself is not to be missed, as I said in another review. This tour is very scenic and recommended. Our tour guide, Ms.Rachel Deehan, was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Ours was a shore excursion from cruise; Me and my family had a wonderful time. Thanks.

Great excursion with Paul as our guide. Paul was very knowledgeable and had lots of information about the area. He assisted us in taking photos of us in front of waterfalls and the beautiful scenery. The suspension bridge was amazing along with the replica mining cabin that had been constructed there. This tour follows the road through the White Pass from Skagway to a few miles beyond the Canadian border where the 'Yukon Suspension Bridge' is located. This is a very scenic route with a friendly and informative guide and frequent stops for photography etc including views of the railway which follows the same valley on the other side. The top of the pass is really beautiful with lots of little lakes and panoramic views. The suspension bridge was ok but nothing special. It is specifically a tourist attraction and nothing else. It crosses a ravine with fast flowing rapids and they have built several viewing platforms. Picturesque and an interesting add on to the tour.
