Welcome to Salt Lake City! we will leave Salt Lake City and travel to Jackson Wyoming, a famous cowboy town as well as a world’s renowned vacation destination. Here you can find everything you expect to see in a national park! Snow covered mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, canyons, meadows, herds of buffalos, elks and the most amazing geothermal features in the world! We will even take a look at the Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful Geyser, West Thumb, and wildlife up close and spend the night in West Yellowstone.

All hotel rooms are based on two Full / Double beds or one King/Queen bed depends on what hotel availiable on the day. The maximum occupancy per room is four travelers.

Day 2: Salt Lake City -Jackson -Grand Teton National Park - Yellowstone National Park

Pass By: Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City, Utah
Today we will leave Salt Lake City and travel to Jackson Wyoming, a famous cowboy town as well as a world’s renowned vacation destination. Be sure to visit the Elk Antler Arches Square located in the center of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park! Following, we will head over to Yellowstone in the afternoon! Yellowstone is home to world’s largest super volcano and over 10, 000 geothermal features. Here you can find everything you expect to see in a national park! Snow covered mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, canyons, meadows, herds of buffalos, elks and the most amazing geothermal features in the world! We will even take a look at the Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful Geyser, West Thumb, and wildlife up close and spend the night in West Yellowstone.

Itinerary:

Salt Lake City → Jackson → Elk Antler Arches Park (60 mins) → Grand Teton National Park (60 mins) → Yellowstone National Park (3 hours) → West Yellowstone

Grand Teton National Park is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas and its shimmering alpine lakes. It is also home to a variety of abundant wildlife.

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park -Rocky Mountain -Sheridan

Continue to explore the beauty of Yellowstone National Park with us this morning! Today we will explore Norris Geyser Basin, the Upper Yellowstone Falls and a few more great wonders of Yellowstone! We will even cross the Great Backbone of North America known as the Rocky Mountains in the afternoon and enjoy the breathtaking scenic views along the way! We will also be staying overnight in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Day 4: Devil's Tower -Mount Rushmore -Crazy Horse Monument -Casper

Explore Devil’s Tower with us this morning! The tower rises 1, 267 feet above the valley, the hexagonal columns that make up the tower are truly unique and rare, and the tallest in the world! The tower is also featured in famous movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” Our next stop is the most famous icon of the United States at the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial! George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, look down from their stony height and remind everyone even impossible is possible! Finally, we will arrive at Crazy Horse Indian Memorial and sightsee the world’s largest mountain carving: Crazy Horse! We will also be staying overnight in Casper.

Sheridan → Devil's Tower (90 mins) → Mount Rushmore (90 mins) → Crazy Horse Monument (45 mins) → Casper

Stop At: Devils Tower, Devils Tower, Wyoming
Devils Tower is a laccolithic butte composed of igneous rock in the Bear Lodge Mountains. The name Devil's Tower originated in 1875 during an expedition led by Colonel Richard Irving Dodge, when his interpreter reportedly misinterpreted a native name to mean "Bad God's Tower". All information signs in that area use the name "Devils Tower", following a geographic naming standard whereby the apostrophe is omitted.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is centered around a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore. Mount Rushmore features 60-foot sculptures of the heads of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Stop At: Crazy Horse Memorial, 12151 Avenue of the Chiefs, Crazy Horse, SD 57730-8900
Crazy Horse Memorial is a mountain monument under construction on privately held land in the Black Hills, in Custer County, South Dakota, United States. It will depict the Oglala Lakota warrior, Crazy Horse, riding a horse and pointing to his tribal land. The monument is being carved out of Thunderhead Mountain, on land considered sacred by some Oglala Lakota, between Custer and Hill City, roughly 17 miles (27 km) from Mount Rushmore. The monument has been in progress since 1948 and is far from completion. If completed as designed, it will become the world's second tallest statue, after the Statue of Unity.

Day 5: Independent Rock -Salt Lake City

Today we will begin our journey by driving to the Independent Rock State Historic Site! Independence Rock was a key landmark for pioneers as they picked their way across the American frontier. Hundreds of names have been carved into the hard stone over the years. Following, we will drive to Salt Lake City and visit the Capitol Hill which is also known as the most expensive and magnificent State House the United States! Then, we will take a walk in the State Capitol building to be amazed by the surrounding architecture, sculptures, and the rich historical information. Next up will be Temple Square! We will take a look and follow the Mormon Missionary sisters’ lead to see the virtue kingdom at the LDS church to learn about the history and teachings of the LDS Church.

Casper → Independent Rock (60 mins) → Salt Lake City → Utah State Capitol (30 mins) → Temple Square (45 mins)

The Utah State Capitol is the house of government for the U.S. state of Utah. The building houses the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, the offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, the State Auditor and their staffs. The capitol is the main building of the Utah State Capitol Complex, which is located on Capitol Hill, overlooking downtown Salt Lake City.The Neoclassical revival, Corinthian style building was designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting, and built between 1912 and 1916. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Temple Square is a 10-acre (4.0 ha) complex, owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), in the center of Salt Lake City. Contained within Temple Square are the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle, Salt Lake Assembly Hall, the Seagull Monument, and two visitors' centers. The square was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1964, recognizing the Mormon achievement in the settlement of Utah.

It was quite a whirl wind tour. Moving from one location to the next. It was well worth it. I loved seeing the Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and much more. It was unbelievable.

I m happy we were a Small group of 12 people only thus more like a personal tour covering all major sightseeing
