Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO LIMA - CUSCO

Pass By: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
The day you arrive in the city of Lima, you will wait at the airport to take a flight to the city of Cusco, upon arrival in this city our staff will be waiting for you at the airport and you will be transferred to the hotel, the rest of the day off.

Day 2: CUSCO - PISAC - OLLANTA - AGUAS CALIENTES

Stop At: Urubamba, Urubamba, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
The excursion begins with the Inca citadel of Pisaq, composed of terraces, fountains, observatories and a cemetery, the largest in the region, this was a point of control and domain of the Incas in the Sacred Valley. After the guided tour we will go down to the town and go to the traditional market of Pisaq, there we will have the opportunity to discover the customs of the people. then we will continue towards the heart of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where we have lunch and then we will go to the Ollantaytambo fortress, located on the hill that dominates the town, buildings such as the Temple of the Sun and its gigantic monoliths stand out: the Mañaracay or Salón Real. In the upper part, a fortress stands out, with a series of carved stone terraces, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the peoples of the Jungle. Then you have the train heading to Aguas Calientes, upon your arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - POROY - CUSCO

Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
This day after breakfast we go to the bus station and go to Machupicchu and we will see how spectacular the citadel of Machu Picchu is, "old peak", considered a jewel of Inca architecture: with neighborhoods, squares, houses, agricultural areas , roads, observatories, etc. Built on one of the flanks of the old mountain in the middle of the semi-tropical vegetation. It was built on one of the flanks of the old Mountain and discovered on July 24, 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. The guided tour lasts for 2 hours, where we will visit the most representative places of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. After the visit, you have free time to continue exploring and as an option we can visit the mountain of Huaynapicchu; from where you have beautiful views of Machu Picchu. Later we return to Aguas Calientes and then we go to the train station to leave for Poroy and then transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: CUSCO - MARAS - MORAY - CUSCO

Stop At: Moray Valle Sagrado de los Incas, Maras 08655 Peru
In the morning we visit the other part of the Sacred Valley; In principle we will have a stop to appreciate the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of "La Verónica" (5682 m.s.n.m) and "Chikón" (5530 m.s.n.m). Immediately we go to Moray; Unique archaeological group of its kind, which is about depressions or gigantic natural holes that were used to build terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation channels, it is therefore a prototype of a greenhouse or quite advanced biological experimental station. Then towards the salt mines of Maras; made up of about 3000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², during the dry season they are filled or "irrigated" every 3 days with salty water that emanates from a natural spring located in the upper part of the wells so that when it evaporates the water, the salt contained in it gradually solidifies, later the salt is beaten and thus granulated. Return to Cusco.

Day 5: CUSCO - 7 COLORS MOUNTAIN - RED VALLEY

Stop At: Cerro Colorado Vinicunca, Apv- Tipon-n11, Cusco 08002 Peru
In the morning we left for the Cusipata-Paucarpata district; where we have breakfast. Then we arrive at the starting point of the hike, which will last 2 hours until we reach Vinicunca or Montaña de Colores 5020 meters above sea level. On the way we will observe a large number of llamas and alpacas that are at the mercy of shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful costumes typical of the place; almost upon reaching the top we will observe the Vinicunca mountain range (5020 m / 16.466 ft.). Arriving at this point, our guide will explain about the orography, the ecosystem and the color of the mountain. After that, we continue to the Red Valley, the name is due to the special pigmentation of the earth that has a reddish color due to the abundant amount of mineral, this path will be more special because perhaps we will be one of the only groups on this route, We return to our mobility and we will continue to the restaurant where we have lunch, finally we will return to the city of Cusco.

Day 6: CUSCO - RETURN
