What to expect
The tour will takeup to 7 hours
10 am
The first winery is Damjanic Wines, where we will start with our first tasting of 5 different wines and enjoy a light snack of local ham /istrian prosciutto/ and cheese.
11:30 am
At the second winery, Kozlovic or Kabola wines, you’ll see the cellars that have been in the family for over 100 years and learn more Malvazija Istriana and Teran wines.
13 am
At the third winery, Veralda, it’ll be time to learn about wine & food pairing. So after briefly enjoying the views of the beautiful Istrian countryside and the cellars we will make ourselves comfortable in the winery „locanda“ for a typical Istrian meal consisting of starters (local produce /cheese, prosciutto, salami & bread with olive oil), some lovely home-made pasta and finally finish off with a desert – all accompanied by a wine tasting of the winery’s fine selection of wines.

This is a very personalised tour with a fantastic host. Alen is passionate about the area, the history and the wine and food. We got to visit some amazing smaller independent wine producers (lovely families) who took the time to welcome and talk to us (Damjanic and Coronica). The wonderful cheese, meats and breads provided sustenance along the way and the experience was founded off with a beautiful meal at Hrast in Porec. The quality of the wine throughout the day was fantastic and we felt very well looked after. Alen our guide for the day was very knowledgeable about the various vineyards and wines and made the day very enjoyable and fun. You get taste some amazing wines and olive oils. We had an amazing time during the Wine & More tour with our host Alen. His knowledge of and love for the region is immense. He always made sure that we were learning about the region and were having fun during the whole trip. We tasted some of the best wines in Istria. We ate some of the best food in the world. Seriously, it was that good.We hebben ontzettend genoten van alle heerlijke wijnen, lokale gerechten en olijfolie. Alen verteld met passie over de omgeving en geeft veel uitleg over de wijnen. Absoluut de moeite waard!
