Windsurf classes in Fuerteventura
Overview
There is a lot of personal attention, constant feed back in a efficient and progressive way.
Use of propriate teaching equipment also is playing a role in our classes.
The instructor has many years of experience, giving lessons in different locations across Europe.
We wont do long theories on the beach, we will only take the important material needed to help you progress.

What to expect
We will prepare the boards, rig up our sails, put on the wetsuits and we will hit the water.
Beginners I will teach step by step how to start going, how to turn and how to come back to the same point.
If you have already experience, I will estimate your level first, then I will guide you to progress to the next level. Fast tack, jibe, beach start, harness are steps that have to take place one after each other.
I will also be giving some theoretic explanations, before or meanwhile the activity.

Nachdem ich in Corralejo in einer der großen Surfschulen enttäuscht war, habe ich die Gecko Windsurfschule entdeckt und hier eine zweitägigen Windsurfkurs gemacht. Martin war ein super Lehrer. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen und ist individuell auf meine Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Er war sehr gut, schnell und zuverlässig in der Kommunikation und hat auf dem Wasser immer auf mich geachtet und es war ihm wichtig, dass ich Spaß an der Sache hatte. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wenn ich wieder nach Fuerteventura komme, werde ich sicher wieder bei ihm surfen. Vielen Dank Martin für die zwei perfekten Tage auf dem Wasser! After being dissapointed in one of the big surfschools in Corralejo I found Gecko Windsurfing School. I did a two day course. Initially I had ony planned on one day but decided to windsurf on my last day of the holidays also. Martin is a fantastic teacher. He was very good, quick and reliable in communication. On the water he took very good care of me and it was important to him that I had fun while learning. Definitely would recommend! On my next holiday on Fuerteventura I will surely choose this windsurfing school and experience again. We did 2 classes with Martin and it was all perfect. The communication before booking was quick and clear. We went to a flat watered bay near El Cotillo where Martin helped us to get the material ready and without wasting time he brought us to the water. Even the conditions were challenging on the first day, thanks to Martin, we were able to go up and down almost immediately. The material was in top conditions, all the tips we got from Martin were right on spot. He gave us lots of water time too. Overall great experience with Gecko Windsurf School Definitely to repeat the next time! Thank you!Had a great time! Went solo and Martin made me feel really comfortable and included.
