My family and I spent the first of our two days in Monteverde exploring Curi-Cancha, and I'm so glad we chose to book a guided tour. Our guide, Deyber, had a great sense of humor and was deeply knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the forests in Monteverde. We were happy just to learn so much from him, but we also had the immense luck of seeing both a quetzal and sloth, as well as a tarantula, agouti, and many other species of birds and insects. On our second day in Monteverde, we explored the cloud forests via the Selvatura hanging bridges (self-guided), and our experience was so much richer because of all that we had learned from Deyber about the ecosystem on our tour the day before. I can't recommend this experience enough — it's one my family will never forget. Thanks, Deyber!Amazing Tourguide, knew lots of birds, we were almost 3 Hours in the park and saw 2 Quetzals, Agutis and a sleeping tarantula.
