Stop At: Palo Verde National Park, Costa Rica
The tour consists going to visit one of the most beautiful waterfall around here called llanos de cortez where you can swim or just enjoy the view then we going visit the national park called Palo Verde where we aboard a boat and take a ride for like 1:30 minutes during the time we see many types of wildlife such as white face monkeys, howler monkeys, cocodriles, big iguanas, lizards and differents type of birds after the boat ride we provide you a delicious costa rican lunch finally we going to visit a private reserve in Bigagua near the Tenorio Volcano there will do a little bit hiking to see sloths in his natural habitat, little frog's of differents colors, hummingbirds, butterflies and maybe some toucans when way back to the resort if you wants stop in Liberia City for doing some souvenirs is no problem we can do it.

We did 2 tours with Alex on the Beach. We travelled as a couple on our own with our Guide which was Pablo Campos on both occasions. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with and introduced us to some traditional Costa Rican foods. The first tour was the all day Wildlife Tour with Pablo and David. We saw a baby sloth at very close range which was brilliant, a tapir, monkeys, frogs, birds, snakes. A brilliant experience followed by lunch and a boat trip down the Tenorio/Corobici Rivers topped off by a swim in the Llanos de Cortez waterfall. Unforgetable day. Our 2nd trip was to the Hanging Bridges in Heliconias. No wildlife but still memorable especially for me as I am not normally that good with heights. This was followed by ATVs which was a bit of fun. All in all , I would thoroughly recommend Alex on the Beach as a Tour Guide company and also Pablo as a guide, who was brilliantSozzleLR

From booking through to the minute we returned to our hotel everything was great! We were looked after so we’ll by Daniel our tour guide & Isaac our driver & the wildlife safari tour was epic. From crocodiles to sloths & much, much more. HIGHLY recommended.

Although this tour was a little pricey at $350 for 2 it was worth every penny our guide jeiner was fantastic he took us to a wee shop and bought us the best breakfast iv ever tasted then on to our river cruise our guide on the boat was very very good he showed us so much and was very knowledgeabl...
Although this tour was a little pricey at $350 for 2 it was worth every penny our guide jeiner was fantastic he took us to a wee shop and bought us the best breakfast iv ever tasted then on to our river cruise our guide on the boat was very very good he showed us so much and was very knowledgeable he saw even the smallest snakes etc and pointed them out to us we got snacks and juice on the boat and fresh pineapple overal a wonderful experience especially seeing the crocodiles , then we went for a traditional Costa rican lunch it was very tasty , then to the rain forest unfortunately the day we visited it was pouring with rain so the animals were hiding still an amazing experience tho ,, then it was onto the waterfall absolutely beautiful the whole day was great our guide Jiener even took us shopping to Walmart he could not do enough for us and made the trip very pleasurable I highly recommend this company for all your trips and ask for jiener as your guide you will not be disappointed , Nicky and Daz 2 very happy customers thank you Alex on the beachflybynite1

This was a full day of Costa Rican culture, wildlife and fun! Norman Ortega was our guide and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves for the day. This was a full day of Costa Rican culture, wildlife and fun! Norman Ortega was our guide and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves for the day. We began by stopping for breakfast at a typical grocery store where we were able to purchase a delicious breakfast. We were also given the option to stop at a supermarket to pick up supplies and use the facilities. On to the 2 hour river trip where we saw monkeys, birds, iguanas and crocodiles. What an experience! Norman then took us to a restaurant where we had lunch waiting for us because Norman pre-ordered what we wanted and reserved a table. I had steak and my husband had chicken. Both were very tasty and generous with rice, beans, plantains, veggies and dessert. The restaurant even had a butterfly enclosure! After that we drove through the rainforest on the Caribbean side to a Wildlife sanctuary where we were guided by Ana, a lovely girl who knew where to find sloths, monkeys, toucans, and many other animals. Next stop was the Cortez waterfall where we were amazed by the beauty and were able to swim. The tour took about 10 hours from pickup to dropoff at our hotel.All in all, a great value and Norman was a gem. He is extremely knowledgeable about his country, its history and keeps it all interesting. Highly recommended.trevorkroutil

We spent the day with Alex, from Alex in the beach, from 7:30-7:30. We started off by getting to see some waterfalls and jump off rocks! After that we went to our next stop, the River tour, and had lunch waiting for us. We saw crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys and birds everywhere. After the river tour we took a ride the Caribbean side of the Country for the Wildlife safari tour. Once again, this did not disappoint. We were able to see Sloths, monkeys, frogs and Toucans all over the place! Overall the best part of the tour was Alex himself. This guy knows everything there is to know about the history of Costa Rica and can tell you about every single animal he sees. A walking talking encyclopedia! ***PAY ATTENTION*** other vendors may be using Alex’s name to attract business because of how successful he has been, but they do not associate with Alex or his partners. Please be careful and use Alex and his team only! Pura Vida
