Pass By: Canoa Aventura, 1.5 km west of La Fortuna San Carlos Catholic Church, Alajuela, Costa Rica Route 142, in front of the Fortuna cemetery., Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna de San Carlos 4417 Costa Rica
This will be the place of departure, for people who wish to arrive directly in their vehicle or transport.
Stop At: Boca Arenal, Boca Arenal, Province of Alajuela
You will end up at “La Cocina de Tita Yolanda” where a delicious
snack awaits you! But besides the tasty snack, you can learn about
the importance of Coffee, Chocolate, and, Sugarcane crops.

What a nice tour! While in Costa Rica, we took many safari tours in the forest but this on a raft floating on the river was very different. We liked it a lot and it was interesting to see so many animals. Our guide Joe was very nice, kind and attentive in pointing the animals and answering all our questions. We definitely recommend this tour.Martin made the safari float tour awesome! He patiently explained everything in Spanish and English as we had a bilingual group on the boat. He is very knowledgeable, funny and helped us learn and see A LOT. We saw birds, monkeys, a crocodile and more. Highly recommended!

After the float, we were treated to some snacks and beverages before heading back into town.Had a wonderful and relaxing afternoon floating the river and wildlife spotting with our guide Gustavo. Very knowledgeable about the area and saw so much wildlife! Tons of Howler monkeys, bird species, lizards, sloths and a crocodile. Beautiful area as well.

We were picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to the Penas Blancas River for an inflatable raft tour down the river. We were given a safety briefing & a life jacket to wear.Our friendly guide was so informative & knowledgeable which made the trip so enjoyable. As part of the trip we visited a sugar cane plantation & were shown how the sugar is extracted. We were then served local costa Rican coffee & a traditional snack, which was much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend this trip
