Explore Akaroa Harbour and coast with local skipper and owner Tony. He has a real wealth of knowledge and will give you entertaining insights into the wildlife, history and geology of our beautiful backyard.

Great day out on the water. So fortunate to see an abundance of wildlife. Small tour group made for an intimate experience. I’ve been on wildlife cruises with most of the Akaroa providers, and this was by far my favourite. The team were so warm and welcoming to my family, including my young infant. Small boat meant we could go the other tour providers couldn’t. First fish he’s caught in years ( was not in marine reserve). Knew hubby be stoked. Used as bait for crayfish. Saw seals and penguins swimming, crayfish, jellyfish off for a dip and a couple of hector dolphins. All very quick so need good eyesight. great scenery with caves and cliffs, elephant rocks. Was one of the best boat trips we’ve had in years! Learned a few things. Would not hesitate to recommend for an excursion into the unknown. Just great! Wir durften einen super Nachmittag auf dem Boot von Tony und Mafi mit einer kleinen Gruppe von anderen Touristen verbringen. Tony und Mafi haben während der Fahrt laufend erklärt, welche Tiere wir gerade sehen oder welche Vögel wo ihre Nester anbringen. Für uns war die kleine Gruppengrösse ideal, da wir so sehr viel Platz auf dem Boot hatten und auch immer Fragen stellen konnten. Absolut empfehlenswert!
