Whitewater Kayak Course on Soca River
Overview
A seat of a kayak offers you an opportunity to explore the rugged and beautiful Soča River. Professional instructors will be your conductor through an intense 2-3-hour training course and give you the skills, joy, and confidence to endear the challenges of the open white and wild emerald water. Be the king of the kayak, spend more days on the river and Soča will definitely deliver. If mastering kayaking is your goal, multi-day courses are recommended.

What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: First day
Stop At: SPORT MIX, Trg golobarskih zhrtev 18, Bovec 5230 Slovenia
At the agreed-upon time, a friendly welcome will await you at the SPORT MIX agency. You will get acquainted with your kayak instructor who will then share some introductory information.
After receiving all your kayaking gear, we will transport you to the entrance point on the Soča River, which will be determined by the instructor based on water levels and your prior knowledge and experience.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: River Soca, Kobarid Slovenia
After putting on your gear, you will be instructed on the laws of water flow and the techniques to employ in maneuvering in those situations. In your 5 – 10 km descent of the Soča, you will put into practice the techniques you have learned and build on your knowledge so that you can safely and in a relaxed manner enjoy your kayaking experience.
Each day at the end of your trip, our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Bovec.
Upon return, we will conduct a short analysis and review of the day and agree on the next day’s plan.

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Not recommended for people without swimming knowledge.

I recommend kayaking the Soca River, and if you're lucky enough to get Owen and Sebastian as your guides, than you will have an awesome day on the river. The owner of the company was a real nice guy too, as well as the girls who worked the front desk, and anyone else who we met working there that I have not yet mentioned. Primoz, Taja und Guillermo haben uns wundervoll aufgenommen sodass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Wir bekamen das komplette Equipment und eine ausführliche Einweisung von den Guides. Danach konnten wir unsere abenteuerliche Tour beginnen und die atemberaubende Landschaft zeitgleich gen...
Primoz, Taja und Guillermo haben uns wundervoll aufgenommen sodass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Wir bekamen das komplette Equipment und eine ausführliche Einweisung von den Guides. Danach konnten wir unsere abenteuerliche Tour beginnen und die atemberaubende Landschaft zeitgleich genießen. Zwischendurch konnten wir anhalten und den Ausblick bewundern oder im tollen Wasser schwimmen. Außerdem wurden von uns von Beginn bis zum Ende Fotos gemacht die wir anschließend umsonst bekommen haben. Der Trip war definitiv das Highlight unserer Slowenien Reise und einfach nur absolut empfehlenswert bei einem super Preis Leistung Verhältnis!AndySonnig

Wir waren jetzt das dritte Mal zu Gast bei Sport MIX und es war wieder sehr schön. Der Kayak Kurs mit Marci war ein schönes Erlebnis. Ruhig, lustig, verständnisvoll und ein gutes Auge für die Leute. Und der Fluss Soca ist natürlich auch immer ein Erlebnis Ein tolles Team bei Sport Mix mit viele...
