Whistler Via Ferrata Tour

No climbing experience needed. Stunning views and a real sense of accomplishment await you at the top! Suitable for adults and teens with moderate fitness.

What to expect
At the top of the gondola, the guide will outfit you with a harness and helmet. The group then hikes for 30-45 minutes across the base of the glacier.
There is a small scrambling section before we clip into the safety cables and begin climbing up. Step and grab onto the rungs to climb up. At halfway up, we stop for water, snacks and photos. Then we continue climbing up the peak of Whistler Mountain.

- What to bring: Hiking shoes, gloves, small backpack, water, snacks, rain jacket
- Suitable for beginners (no climbing experience required)
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Includes all climbing equipment
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum age is 12 years
- Peak 2 Peak Gondola Ticket is required and not included (unless chosen Peak 2 Peak) Package.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Face masks required for guides in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Regular temperature checks for staff

The guides (Mike, Ollie, and Noah) were really helpful and encouraging, with tips and suggestions for how to conquer the tougher parts. They were very thorough in their safety instruction, and just nice guys who seemed to enjoy being out on the mountain with us. It was so fun and you will feel so accomplished at the top. Amazing views the whole time. Guides Mike Vert and Lana were knowledgeable and made me feel very safe the entire time.
