Fly past the instantly recognizable Black Tusk
Stop At: Garibaldi Provincial Park, 1376 Depot Rd E, Brackendale, Squamish, British Columbia V0N 1H0 Canada
On the Whistler Backcountry Air Safari you will fly deep into Garibaldi Provincial Park, to the boundary layer between ancient glacial flows and volcanism. It’s here where mountains were forged, among fire and ice, as far back as 230 million years ago.

- Infants free of charge, and sit in the lap of a responsible guardian
- Not wheelchair accessible

- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date
- All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking and entered in pounds (lbs)

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

- Prior to boarding your flight you will be required to undergo a health check and a verification that you have a face covering or mask to cover your mouth and nose. All flights will be made private at no additional cost. You will only ever be flying with people from your own group.

- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

This was a wonderful experience and an incredible way to see the local area. The weather that day was absolutely perfect; clear skies, no smoke. The pilot was very knowledgeable of the local geography and he "greased" the landing on our return. I would highly recommend taking a flight.

Anna and I (Patrick) took the Whistler Backcountry Air safari on 07/25/22 with Eric. Not only did he really made us feel safe during the flights by explaining us how it's like to fly etc, but also did he really share his passion about the are we flew over including Garibaldi Provincial Park, it's lakes glaciers and volcanos. Anna and I couldn't stop being in awe due to this amazing adrenaline filling flight and the scenery we got to see (if that makes any sense). This 59 minute experience is worth every Dollar and we will do it again of we happen to come Canada again. So mind blowing to see massive Glaciers. You get a sense on how worthy it is to fight for nature conservation if see the world and it's wonders from above.And if course it's scars on (e.g. all the clear cuts on Crown land). Eric, you made this flight very special for us and all the best for you and your family! May we meet again (and then both with grey beards ;)). My wife and I received a gift card for this flight, not something we would normally do though. So thankful we took this trip on our wedding anniversary, it was so memorable. Right from arriving we were greeted by our pilot and given instructions for the flight. Felt very welcome and comfortable during this time of Covid. Aside from the incredible scenery our pilots knowledge was second to none of the area and landscape history. We will be back for a different adventure for sure and would absolutely recommend this flight to anyone. Great job by Sea to Sky Air!!!
