We were visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend and decided to do the Whiskey Walking Tour. We were not sure what to expect since we are from Ohio but it was worth it all! Corrie was absolutely an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and so much fun! My boyfriend really had a great time and would definitely visit again for another tour with her! Highly recommend this tour! The tour was 2 hours long but I wouldn’t have minded going even longer! It was a gamble scheduling a walking tour in February… in Pittsburgh, but it was totally worth it! We did the Whiskey Walking tour with Corrie. She was a fantastic guide! Funny, knowledgeable, and a great host. You learn a lot about how whiskey shaped Pittsburgh, started a rebellion, made heroes and jagoffs (just take the tour if you are visiting and don’t know what that means) of people you learn about in history, and then made a resurgence with local distillers. You also get to see the architecture of Pittsburgh while you are at it. I hope some of the venues reopen after COVID because it will just add to the awesome experience.Corrie is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the history of Pittsburgh. The stories of Carnegie and Frick were enlightening. I will be thinking about this for many years to come.
