What to expect
Join us for an intimate safari style whale-watching experience on our open-ocean adventure vessel. Observe these beautiful creatures at eye level with a maximum of 12 guests, while you also soak in this rich and diverse stretch of coastline.
From departure to return you will enjoy stunning coastal scenery along with informative and captivating commentary from our experienced skipper and crew. We guarantee you will encounter whales and be mesmerised as you observe them in their natural habitat. This experience lasts about 2 and half hours.

And of course seeing a new born calf with it's mother was an added bonus. The boat size created an intimate and relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy! Well done and we would highly recommend the friendly easy going team from Cooly EcoWent out with a few mates this morning. Best tour ever. Definitely worth the experience if you’re ever in the area, and if not you should plan your trip for it.

You only have to be on board with Lachlan & Julia for a while to realise their passion for this experience…...
Being ‘older’ than the adventurous ones on this tour I was a bit apprehensive about not being brave enough to swim out there, 12km from shore or not being able to climb back aboard at sea. You only have to be on board with Lachlan & Julia for a while to realise their passion for this experience… for your safety & their calm protocols to assuage any worries. We found so many pods … close encounters of the whales choice … dolphin moments … truly magical. Although we weren’t fortunate enough for the whales to swim under us once we were in the water - none of this mattered. Lachlan & crew spent extra time following these beautiful creatures - & were as excited as us with the encounters. We loved it. I love when you find people like this crew who have a passion & have made it their way of life .. & we benefit from their knowledge x.
