WESTLAND WONDERLAND on the giant HELIMAX screen, Franz Josef Cinema. Experience the tranquility, magnificence, awe-inspiring captivation of Westland Wonderland - the only 40 minute theatre experience of New Zealand's final frontier - South West New Zealand. Filmed in our very own World Heritage area, noted for its blanketing temperate rainforest and thriving population of wildlife. The untouched and predator free Open Bay Islands off the Coast of Haast with it's population of Fiordland Crested penguin and New Zealand Fur Seal. Other populations of wildlife including an independant and as yet undescribed Gecko species, and giant Weta. Completely in their own unspoiled habitat. View the mighty Red Hiils of the Cascade valley between Haast and Milford Sound, the splendour of the South West coastline giving up to the New Zealand Fur Seal, Hector's and Bottle Nose Dolphins, Fiordland Crested Penguins and often views of the migrating Southern Right and Humpback whales.
