We went on a two day tour with our tour guide Nermine in Luxor through NascoTours at the Hilton Luxor Resort and Spa. Our tour guide was amazing! She gave us so much knowledge and information that we wouldn't have gotten if we didn't get a tour guide. She spoke excellent English and Arabic and was very helpful in answering any of our questions. All visits were very prompt and the driver (Mahmoud) was very nice. Our family would 100% recommend going with NascoTours, especially with Nermine! They conveniently have an office in the Hilton in Luxor and the private tour was awesome and we learned so much and got some great pictures and many funny memories! We booked with these guys downstairs of Hilton Luxor, after our existing operator was a nightmare to deal with. We booked with these guys downstairs of Hilton Luxor, after our existing operator was a nightmare to deal with. Confirmed our trip for 9am start at 930pm the night before. Car quality was one of the best we have seen since landing into Egypt. Guide was professional - gave us plenty of guidance but also gave us space when we wanted it. Didn’t try to upsell much. Most enjoyable day with a wonderful team. If you ever happen to stay in Steigenberger Nile Palace and wanted to do a day tour around Luxor, look for the NASCO Tour Desk and ask for the tour guide to be Nereem (Nana). She's a valuable asset in preserving the history of Egypt. She knows a lot and she answered ALL my questions without hesitation. She's a nice person, funny and accommodating. She even taught me how to read hieroglyphics (now every time I see a Duck and a Sun in one picture, I'll call it SaRa.) I also want to say thank you to our driver Emad. Great team. 👍My friends and I (40-something New Yorkers) booked an all day tour of Luxor through the Hilton Luxor Hotel and Nasco Tours. My friends and I (40-something New Yorkers) booked an all day tour of Luxor through the Hilton Luxor Hotel and Nasco Tours. We only had two days in Luxor and wanted to spend one day relaxing by the pool so we packed all the sightseeing activities into the second day. We were greeted in the hotel’s lobby by our wonderful guide, Nermeen, and set off to begin our adventure. We toured the colossal Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, sailed from the West Bank of the Nile to the East, had a rooftop lunch with a view and saw how pottery was sculpted out of alabaster. We were safely transported from location to location in a new and clean mini-van and were provided with water at regular intervals (much appreciated since we were in the middle of the desert in July). Nermeen was amazing. Seriously! What a kind, knowledgeable, energetic and intelligent human being. Adjectives fail to describe how much we liked her. She gave us just the right amount of history and sprinkled in anecdotes to make all of the information more memorable. I wish all of our tour guides were as good. Would definitely recommend a trip to Luxor and a guided tour with this tour operator. Definitely ask for Nermeen! We spent a wonderful morning in Luxor with Nermeen exploring Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. We spent a wonderful morning in Luxor with Nermeen exploring Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. Nermeen is very knowledgeable, personable, and you can tell she truly loves her job! She even took us to a local alabaster shop where we got to see how they take a piece of alabaster and turn it into a vase. I would highly recommend reaching out to Nermeen if you’re looking for a tour while visiting Luxor. She’s the best!
