What to expect
Experience life like a local as you visit each of these local favorites. Stop at a neighborhood eatery to try some hearty Polish soups including traditional żurek [zhurek]. This soup is made from a time-honored Polish recipe. A must-have are Polish dumplings and on this tour you get to try couple of kinds of them. Enjoy these delicious dumplings where they do it best, the Praga district just across the Vistula River. You will visit two of the best brasseries known for their pierogies. Then, it is time to discover the story of Polish vodka and raise your glass to sample a shot. Return to your Warsaw accommodations at the end of this tour.

We took the Warsaw Food Tour on October 16. Our tour guide was Art. We had an absolutely wonderful tour and our guide was very informative about the city and history of Warsaw. He took us to a market where we tried some delicious cheese, kielbasa, and other local specialties. We then went to a few restaurants in different parts of the city and got to taste more local foods. I would highly recommend the Warsaw Food Tour and especially recommend our guide, Art. He truly made our visit to Warsaw memorable.Really enjoyed this food tour! My favorite of the foods was the Pizy Bistro, where the pork and cheese pizy was totally delicious! Cucumber vodka was a nice addition. My friend booked this trip as a pre-excursion for a group of us who arrived early for a small group 12 day fun tour of Poland. Most of us had traveled to Poland previously. This was my 4th trip to Poland. All of us loved this tour! The tour guide spoke excellent English. The vintage fire bus was fun, but not air conditioned ( it was very hot that week). Our 3 stops in the 4 hour tour were: 1. Food market, 2. New Town, and 3. Praga. We all especially liked the market visit. The food choices differed a little from the description, but all were terrific. We tried iced cold cucumber vodka, 2 kinds of soups, market foods, communist cola, and pyzy in Praga with rhubarb cake. I highly recommend this tour.So, I live in Warsaw now and have been here for one year - I wish I had taken this tour with MARK immediately after we moved to Poland! Mark is so personable, and not only did we experience amazing food, but also learnt about polish history and culture. The tour was not rushed, and Mark even took us to an additional location to experience some polish vodka. This is definitely a must-do experience, and the experience is made even better in the 80s music communist fire van. I am so glad we did this tour, and as we had such limited time, I would definitely come back and do more tours with this company. Worth every cent.Our guide Marek was fabulous!
