Locals couldn't agree more, as 90% of the Greek islands might have unparalleled beauty, but Crete offers the best quality of food on top of that as well. For this reason, a food tour in town would have been the very best idea.
This experience is going to give you the opportunity to taste an abundance of local products, from the greatest Cretan producers. From the classic Raki / Tsikoudia, to Cretan Bougatsa, the local varieties of local Cheese, olives, and even the very best sweets.
In order to make this tour unique, we have added a visit to a local herbs and products store, (which, among locals, is considered the most secret gem) and also a visit to the best traditional manufacturer of Cretan knives.

A must for all foodies. Christos, our guide, was knowledgable and enthusiastic about Crete and it's food .We tasted things we'd never have found ourselves from the producers themselves, just delicious. A great way to explore a new place when on holiday.

If you are looking for a great food tour, this is your ticket. As “foodies” we never miss a chance to include a food tour in a new location. Most are alright. Some aren’t very impressive and feel a little canned. That’s not the case for this tour. Bring an appetite to this tour - you won’t leave...
If you are looking for a great food tour, this is your ticket. As “foodies” we never miss a chance to include a food tour in a new location. Most are alright. Some aren’t very impressive and feel a little canned. That’s not the case for this tour. Bring an appetite to this tour - you won’t leave hungry. Christos presented us with one of the most well-orchestrated food tours we’ve ever been on. Every stop was it’s own adventure and Christos has every item arranged with the several cafes we visited. None of the locations were tourist stops but instead a cadre of shops frequented by locals with the highest standards of food and drinks. Even better, Christos was able to make modifications to suit our tastes as we moved along. I would relate the highlights but honestly every stop was great. Based on our experience this is easily one of the best food tours we’ve every taken taken. Outstanding doesn’t do justice as an evaluation.Jamie_C

All of the stops on the tour were amazing, loved trying all the local food and learning about the islands herb and tea industry. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job interacting with everyone on the tour.
