Colin is very knowledgeable about Chicago history. It was obvious he had done research. He adjusted to another site when he realized we had already seen one of the sites he planned to feature. We recommend this walking tour!

From the very first step of the tour, Colin was thoroughly engaging and got our group pumped about Chicago! Going on a tour like this gives you an appreciation for the big and small details - from massive sky scrapers where historic business deals happened to small architectural details you would have never stopped to notice on your own. Colin has a wealth of knowledge, stories and anecdotes that he eagerly shared with us as we made our way through downtown Chicago. We admired iconic art and architecture both inside and outside of iconic buildings while he shared fascinating stories and historical (and often tragic) events. Colin opened my eyes to the incredible resiliency of the city of Chicago and its ability to rebuild in the wake of disasters. He tailored his tour to accommodate our needs and we always felt comfortable asking questions. We covered a good area without feeling rushed. I don't know anybody who wouldn't enjoy Walkin' With Colin!Colin was amazing in relaying his knowledge of Chicago history & its architecture. We felt we got the grand tour of the city in 2 hours. highly recommend him!

My wife and I had a BLAST. We went as a part of our wedding anniversary and the other person didn’t show up, so it turned into a personal tour for the two of us. It was entertaining and educational, and we laughed and learned so much that by the time it was over, we had no idea it had already been two hours. He also surprised us with Polaroid photos and an interactive quiz game that had us competing for foot shaped hole punches on a card. Highly recommended!!If you’re in Chicago this tour is a must!
