Loads of different fun water activities for the family in a lovely location, with plenty of shady spots. Bring a picnic, lots of cold drinks for the kids and plan to stay for the day. We had boys ranging from 10-17, everyone had a wonderful time.

This was our 4th summer in a row(our worst staff experience tbh). A little advice for majority of the staff...reception needs to be abit more professional as we didn't like sitting their waiting while you guys goss...

A little advice for majority of the staff...reception needs to be abit more professional as we didn't like sitting their waiting while you guys gossiped about whomever and then talking to us while still carrying on both your guys conversations. My partner went down the slide on a kayak and then it broke...he felt real bad about that, but the staff in the kayak area, mainly the guy on the megaphone...kept talking about it to other staff after the fact and within ear shot of everyone in this area inclu our whole family...also talking through the megaphone by the diving board area to the ufo and peddlo area, they honestly can't hear you...how do we know, cause we were in that area, all looking at you wondering what you were saying. Sad really, cause there were 2 staff who were awesome! But the rest were drinking coffee while directing activities, jumping on the frount of the waimarino ute and generally playing around. Don't be so complacent and a little more professionalism will make the experience a lot less sloppy. Sad really, as previous experiences have always deserved a 5star easy!An absolutely jam-packed day of fun for the kids. They say time flies when you’re having fun, and it sure did. Highly recommend.This has definitely exceeded our expectations. There are activities for all age groups and never experienced an idle moment. The staff were wonderful and so nice too! Loved our first visit and will come back for sure, this time with friends.

On the slide people were coming off and then just going straight back on with the mats so my two just stood by the container waiting and hoping that someone would be nice enough to give them one. Would have been good if someone had been telling people to let ot...
Kids enjoyed it but a few problems. On the slide people were coming off and then just going straight back on with the mats so my two just stood by the container waiting and hoping that someone would be nice enough to give them one. Would have been good if someone had been telling people to let others have a turn. Sadly only 2 of the peddle boats with slides were there so again, big wait, no time limit so one person had it for over 90 minutes that I could see. The bouncing circle in the middle had 6 people on it (that was the maximum) and they were just sitting there talking for over 15 minutes. Finally i just told the kids to go ahead and get on. Lastly we were told that the rock climbing and the blob would work one on one off but the blob finished at 11 and then nothing happened at the rock climbing till 1 which then had a big queue and only one person doing it at a time. The kids very much enjoyed everything when they could actually get on it but I think they need more staff to supervise.
