What to expect
Do you love to get away from the crowded beaches and prefer to visit the local secret spots? Here we have lots of caves with openings on the top through where the sun shines inviting us to walk in, sit down and relax. The connection between these natural temples is the sea, so you can simultaneously experience the ocean and the coast - enjoying the best of the two worlds! We’ll snorkel in calm bays where you are able to see a totally different environment with underwater gardens and families of sardines swimming by. With comfortable wetsuits floating above this paradise couldn’t be easier!

I really loved this trip. I hadn't been snorkeling since I was a child but the wetsuit makes you float and the guides can help you along if swimming becomes difficult. Pedro and Naja were attentive and so knowledgeable about the fish, caves and vegetation in the areas we went. They were also considerate to let me know beforehand that the water clarity might be a bit cloudy in case it changed my mind, but we were lucky to see several types of fish well that day. There's small bit of a hike to get up/down to the starting beach but I think it adds to the experience. You'll feel like an explorer with the people who really love the area. Also for anyone who doesn't have a car, you can easily get an Uber there/back even from Lagos.Pedro and Nadia are absolutely knowledgeable when it comes to marine knowledge. The highlight of our Algarve visit. Pedro and Nadia are top-notch, professional, fun and informative. They both clearly love where they live and the adventures they provide. Our family (twin girls, age 14) and my husband and I felt safe the whole time and enjoyed listening to Pedro and Nadia provide history of the coastline, caves, blow holes and geology. We stepped outside our comfort zones while we dived under the water to access a blow hole made by the powers of the ocean. We choose the 9am trip and they keep their tours small...another great treat as we were 8 total. A fabulous couple from France and a son-law, father in law duo. Fun group and we ended with beautiful local cheeses and fruits....greatly appreciated after 4 hrs of snorkeling. Pedro and Nadia were amazing and friendly guides, and me and my partner both really enjoyed this experience. The caves you visit truly are breathtaking, and the snorkelling locations are great too. I even found a hermit crab and a fossil while snorkelling! The walk to the starting location from the beach is a little challenging, but mostly because I was slow and felt heavy in the wetsuit. There’s some climbing involved on the walk there and some crawling through small gaps to get into caves, which was really fun, but might be daunting to some. Rest assured that all the gaps are big enough and the caves inside are worth it, even my 6’2 partner got through fine. At the start my partner struggled a bit with his prescription goggles which didn’t cover his nose, but the guides supplied a spare mask, and helped him to get the hang of it, checked it was on right when needed etc. they were so helpful. Truly wonderful experience and the food at the end was perfect, just what we needed. I’ve already recommended this experience to 2 people since yesterday!
