Departure for Berat at 9:00 am and you will be transferred towards this beautiful city for around 2, 5 - 3 hours. This is one of the oldest and the pride of Albanian architecture. The three major neighborhoods of the old city are Mangalemi, Gorica, and Kala where the castle itself is located.

Make sure to walk around the perimeter so you can see all the viewpoints including the byzantine church.

We took a private one-day tour to Berat from Saranda with Mariglen. He was very punctual and we left promptly at 8am. Mariglen was thoughtful, kind and considerate. He looked after us all day and accommodated all our needs. The day was long but it really worth the trip as Berat is stunning, and it gives you a break from the crowds and heat of Saranda. The price included breakfast in the beautiful Tepelene and audioguides in the Iconography Museum in Berat.
