You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village of Lefkara. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, honey, donkey milk products and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

On this tour, five different experiences were handpicked to show us the best of Cyprus traditional local production. Our kids loved the donkey farm and the sheep and goat farm where they got to feed and hold the animals. We all enjoyed the tasty cheeses, raw honey and excellent wine (well not the kids on that one!) Our wonderful guide, Helena, was a gem throughout the trip. On our last stop, she led us through the beautiful streets of Lefkara and showed us the right addresses to buy their traditional handmade lace. We highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in discovering the local production and experiencing the Cypriot rural culture.Inspire62377087986

Deze tour is zeker aan te raden. Opgehaald bij ons hotel, waarna we met een klein groepje (6 personen) aan de tour begonnen. Wijnproeverij bij 4 verschillende wijngaarden en een overheerlijke meze als lunch bij een lokale eettent. Bedankt voor de leuke tour Irene!

Durch Besuche in spannenden Museen, einem nahezu ausgestorbenen Dorf und dem touristischen Dorf Lefkara konnte ich neue Eindrücke Zyperns gewinnen. Kulinarisch wurde von Halloumi über Hon...
Die Village Venture Tour hat einen interessanten Eindruck vom ursprünglichen Leben in den Dörfern vermittelt. Durch Besuche in spannenden Museen, einem nahezu ausgestorbenen Dorf und dem touristischen Dorf Lefkara konnte ich neue Eindrücke Zyperns gewinnen. Kulinarisch wurde von Halloumi über Honig und einem üppigen Meze-Essen bis zu einer Weinprobe viel geboten. Schön war die Organisation der Tour mit den beiden Guides in einer kleinen Gruppe. Der Kontakt mit dem Office war professionell und wahnsinnig schnell. Sehr empfehlenswert. Man zahlt zwar etwas mehr als bei den großen Reiseveranstaltern, gekommt aber auch mehr geboten.73sevans

We had a wonderful Troodos Mountains trip,during our last day in Cyprus, accompanied by Theodora, who was a great guide for us. She drove us through the mountains and we had several stops .We visited a donkey farm ( with food tasting), a local cheese farm where we tried the halloumi, an apiary ( with honey tasting and lots of interesting things to learn about bees), a winery (including wine tasting), a local tavern up in the mountains with a fantastic traditional lunch and finally Lefkara , a small and picturesque traditional village. Cette excursion permet de visiter le centre de l ile , bien différente du littoral touristique et l'artisanat local . (Aucune incitation à acheter des produits car ils sont rémunérés pour les visites ) Prévoir un petit déjeuner très léger car on cumule les dégustations et le repas de midi est très copieux Seul bémol : La visite de la cave est agréable mais dommage que la qualité des vins lors de la dégustation soit plus que médiocre , nous avons gouté des vins chypriotes de bien meilleures qualité et à des prix similairesAnne S

Vi är väldigt nöjda med denna turen och företaget. Vi bokade resan från Larnaca då det inte fanns någon resa från Ayia napa men då det var fler från Auia napa på turen så hämtade dem oss här ändå. Bilen var bekväm och stor och vår guide Helena var fantastisk. Vinprovningarna var väldigt trevliga ...

Bilen var bekväm och stor och vår guide Helena var fantastisk. Vinprovningarna var väldigt trevliga och vi fick en rundvandring och information om vintillverkning både förr och nu. Lunchen i den lilla byn var helt underbar med massor av god mat, vin och födelsedagstårta (då en i vårt sällskap fyllde år). Utöver vinresan fick vi genom vår duktiga guide och turen till den lilla byn även kulturhistoria. Den lilla byn var verkligen vacker och vi fick också gå och strosa lite efter lunchen. Vi rekommenderar denna utflykt varmt och är värd varenda krona.
