As it was our first time in Vienna we have decided to learn something about the history of the city and try some traditional food. We didn't expected that the guided tours in Vienna are so expensive and when we have founded the self-guided Food Tour of Vienna we decided to give it a try as it was very very cheap. After our booking within a 1-h we got the booklet via email and it was better than we have imagined. We have used our mobile but it might be worth to print it. There was whole tour itinerary with description interesting facts, map, places to visited, menu and prices. We have made a reservation in each venues as it was recommended. We have vised very local places, probably similar as we could visit with a live guide but the tour was 10x cheaper than with guide. Of course maybe it is not the same as with guide but still we got many interesting facts and anecdotes in very good value for money. I highly recommended for anyone who can feel lost in Vienna City and want to visit best places (not expensive and local) without spending time on own research.I would not recommend this. It was not helpful to use while walking. It promised to provide a simple map, which we could not find in the email provided.
